slngsht Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 I should be able to do that 3 days this week. Downside is that it's right outside my window now, and I'm feeling a bit distracted.
Davemk1 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 My Birkin is at work everyday. It can be hard to get work done when I'm not in the mood and the Birkin is sitting right there "needing" attention. Dave
Kitcat Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Drove mine to work today (zero % chance of rain) and it is parked in the lot below my office. I can look out anytime I want and watch pedestrians on the busy adjacent downtown sidewalk doing double takes:).
KiwiBirkin Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 I would take mine every day if i didnt car pool to work
Spaz Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Mine will be when it is warmer that 30 in the morning
MoPho Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Took mine to work yesterday, it involved a pornstar
slngsht Posted April 23, 2009 Author Posted April 23, 2009 Took mine to work yesterday, it involved a pornstar You can look, but you can't touch... unless you have a sham wow
scannon Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 MoPho, Do you need an assistant on these kind of shoots? Please...
MoPho Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 MoPho, Do you need an assistant on these kind of shoots? Please... Actually, I was the assistant (and car provider) for this one, I was helping out a friend with his shoot. The dream is better than the reality unfortunately
MHKflyer52 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 The dream is better than the reality unfortunately Translation maybe.........The porn star is a guy....LOL.....just kidding but you never know about these Hollywood types and it’s all about money especially in today’s market.
MoPho Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 LOL, no not a guy, but she was rather artificially enhanced which was rather unappealing to me. It was a good excuse to take the car out for a drive though
Hank Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Well, the good news is I accept an offer for a new job tomorrow. AND, I should have my header back from Jet Hot Coatings so I might be street legal soon! Then and only then can I drive my car to work.

southwind25 Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 YAY!!! on the road again! With a little help from Mary and Trina, (thanks gals!) we got the se7en all put back together last night and i took it to work this morning. How awesome it was to actually enjoy the road again after a long winter. The new clutch seems to be fine. of course we need to fiddle and tune it in after it's long winters nap. You know how that is, adjust this, screw and unscrew that, until it's running perfect, exactly at the settings you started off with anyways. Gosh it's good to have it back running again! Now it's going to need it's spring polish and get ready for the cleveland brit car show. YAY!!! Oh and yes, get your hair ties girls we are going for rides tonight!

Hank Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 That is good news Hank. What will you be doing? I will be the Manager over the Applications Engineering department for a national instrument company. Basically, we take the orders from the customers and bring them to the production department. We have people skills! (horrible interpretation of the movie, The Office) Lots of opportunity. I see potential for Fanuc robots, lean manufacturing, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, cost savings galore, openings in the chain of command above me for higher pay, etc. Seems like a win win at the moment.
scannon Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Congratulations Hank, Sounds like a great job especially when so many highly qualified people are out there competing for jobs flipping burgers for minimum wage.
