New Volvo P1800

There is a possibility of a limited production run. Other than the over sized wheels and tires I think it is a beauty. I might be biased a bit as I used to own an 1800ES Sport Wagon.

nearly bought a p1800 wagon 6 years ago after a friend picked up a convertible. in all honesty it a fortuatous decision. much rather have my impreza wagon and 7 than a 40 p1800 and miata. I hope that this new p1800 car does get off the ground and to US dealers!

As someone who has owned more than a few 1800ES's I'd start writing bad checks for one of these.

That coupe has a vaguely early-Lamborghini look to it, especially at the back of the cockpit. I’d like to see an ES-sportwagon version of this car.

I’ve owned 4 Volvo 2-doors, but never an 1800. (My father owned an additional 5 Volvo sedans). I presently own a red 1970 Volvo 122S rally replica 2-door coupe, with original B-20 engine and approximately 35,000 original-owner miles on the clock. (It’s probably the latest 122S in the States, since official importation stopped with the 1968 model year.)

I’ve also got a classic 1975 Volvo presently on the barge from Tacoma to Alaska, but it is considerably larger than any previous Volvo I’ve owned....... :1970-Volvo-122S.1.jpg

That is one fine car. He outdid himself on that one. I hope it matches the renderings exactly.

Mine was red with black interior and had very low miles when I got it. Beautiful car but I didn't really like driving it.

The electronic fuel injection was a real PITA, it needed adjusting almost weekly.

That is a stunning car! And I agree with you Skip, put some "normal" size wheels and tires on so you could drive it on real roads and that thing is ready to go!

Absolutely gorgeous. Looks similar to the retro thunderbirds but about 1000x better and much more nicely executed. I love how thin the pillars appear.
