11Budlite
Just rec'd my August copy of the mag and there's an 8-pg feature on "Lotus - Britain's Lightweight Masterpieces". Well, on pg 24 where they discuss the Lotus Seven there's a picture of what I believe is Scott N's Series 4 taken at TOTD. I'm assuming it's from TOTD because of the green #7 on the drivers side headlight. It certainly looks like this car from my photos:

Al N.
Scott's a lucky guy....great wife a nice Series 4 racer, and more recently...a very nice Elite. Great to see both he and Christine at LOG. Bruce, I was in Connecticut last weekend and nearly pulled a drive by on you! There is a road there that we're going to have to rip up someday...7 South from Lime Rock to 45 into New Preston. yellowss7
C'mon Al, You know you have to have a 7 before you can rip up a road. So what did you get??? Tom:D

Al N.
Ct 341, NY 343, and US 44 (NY side) look nice. CT341 was definitely very nice. And all of this, just south of Lime Rock. Vintage weekend anyone? (Tom, I am of course, trying hard to ignore you....though I am still very thankful that you and John let me hang with you guys at LOG 29. Hope to see you again before LOG 30!) DeanG
Hemmings Sports & Exotics does a pretty good job covering Lotus. I received and read the article today also.
11Budlite
Bruce, I was in Connecticut last weekend and nearly pulled a drive by on you! There is a road there that we're going to have to rip up someday...7 South from Lime Rock to 45 into New Preston. It would have been great to see you again, you could have taken the Birkin for a spin! I agree with you on the roads around the Lime Rock area. My grandfather had farms in New Milford/New Preston and a cottage in Kent, and I had an Uncle who lived/worked on an apple farm in Bantam, so I was able to spend a lot of time playing around in the area when I was a kid. Routes 341, 45, and parts of 7, are all favorites. Another road that I enjoy on my trips to the area is 109 from Thomaston to E. Morris. The first part is somewhat straight but as it gets near the reservoir it's really fun!! Here's a short write-up I did last August on a trip Nancy and I did in the Birkin: http://www.usa7s.com/vb/showthread.php?t=2841
