Anyone know this 73 year old guy in FL?

scannon
Impressive. Sad to see the Dino go tho(:. Which one is the Dino? None of them look like any Dino I've ever seen. I wonder how the driver survived to the ripe old age of 73 with those kinds of wrecks.

scannon
Skip, it's mentioned in the article Spaz linked to in his post. Terrible shame... -John Kitkat, Sorry about that, I missed the link to the article completely. The Dino is the one I feel worst about. I'm glad they didn't have a picture of it after the wreck. There is a Dino very similar to that one that shows up at our local Cars & Coffee and he has to clean my drool off it every time. I'm going to have to see if I can talk my way into a ride in it. Someone needs to take away the keys to all that old guy's cars and give them to me. I promise not to wreck them.
Croc
I think I know this guy. He is fairly well known in his industry. If it is the same guy I am thinking of then I met him a few times during my business dealings and thought he was "larger than life" plus a very good businessman (I am sure I lost that negotiation!) He is in his 70s but he does not look it - very vigorous. I knew he had destroyed a fair few exotic cars on tracks and at his home but .... wow. The water feature is fairly large and as I heard it he miscalulated a power slide. I suspect the palm trees are the ones along his driveway. One interesting side note - did anyone else ee the new Bugatti crash video that the site has a link for? Shows the car leaving the road.
DeanG
Several cars were called Dino although I like the old V6 coupe as shown and the somewhat similar convertible. In the top set of pictures I think it is the red car.

The guy's name is Andy Lee House, owner of Performance Auto Sales. The video is nuts! Edited November 16, 2009 by Spaz
