Alaskossie Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Yesterday, I thought I should exercise the Seven one more time, with our unseasonably dry roads and no snow -- and with my annual seasonal registration running from April 1 to November 1 only. So I bundled up for the 35-degree weather, and went with half-doors and no top. It was decidedly chilly, but with the heater sending warm air up from under the cowl, my hands stayed fairly warm. Can't say the same for my cheeks, though -- next time, I'll wear a balaclava. Today the forecast is for 2 inches of snow, so it looks like I got my Last Blat in the nick of time.
lancylad Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Good for you mate, I'm not done yet. We have our first snow today but I'll be damned if I'm wrapping her up for the year yet. The first inkling of bright sky and we are off to get cold. Winter woolies and a face wrap and I am good to go.
scannon Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Tom, Your cheeks look a little rosy but the big grin is still there. Winter has started here. Loveland Pass is closed today and there was 1' of snow at the tunnels by 6PM, the snow is expected to continue until Tuesday afternoon. A-basin and Loveland ski areas both opened this weekend. However, the weatherman promised us 70F temps down here on the flatlands by the weekend. Gotta love Denver for the sunny blue sky and warm Fall days.
SkinnyG Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 I had previously driven mine down to -5°C (23°F), but I'm older and wiser now. Mine came off the road early this month.
lancylad Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Gonna be warm this weekend, I'm going out.....:cooldude::driving::driving:

Thank goodness for sweaters and heaters. Hate it when it is so cold the tires don't heat up until half way through first run. Oh well, it'll be in the upper 70's by afternoon. Gotta tough out the winter blast's!
lancylad Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Gonna be plus 12c this weekend, guess who's seven is on the road. Croc Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 For some reason South Park the Movie comes to mind in this thread. In particular that catchy jingle "Blame Canada!" :jester: Bruce - you are wicked!!!
twobone Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Hoping to head out for a spin tonight and tomorrow night. Its just hovering above freezing. But doors on, coat zipped up, gloves on and a ski-hat and I should be good
