WestTexasS2K Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 (edited) I have a customer that lived in Indianapolis and is now working mostly in California and doesnt have time for his car. He has asked me to help him sell so I told him I would list it here for him. His name is Glen his number is 317-828-0852 his email is darkknights2k@gmail.com call him for any further info. The car has 1500 miles on it. It was built by Brian at his facility in Red Oak Tx in 2007. The engine is the 2.2L which has little more torque than the 2.0 and better trans ratios for the engine power curve. The engine is one of 10 that Brian purchased from Portland that was involved in a train wreck they all had under 10 miles on them when he purchased them. It has optional 18" wheels installed and has a completed trunk with carpet. The trunks on the Ultralites are quite large 48x18x13. This car is in like new condition and has had all the initial sorting out done. Should be able to buy and drive. Asking 28500.00 Car cost over 38000.00 new. glens s2k1.bmp Edited October 9, 2011 by WestTexasS2K
WestTexasS2K Posted October 7, 2011 Author Posted October 7, 2011 Not sure why the photos are not embedded any help on this?
mrmustang Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Not sure why the photos are not embedded any help on this? You need to convert the files from BMP format to Jpg format. I also suggest making the pictures larger, as right now they are 1.5"X1.5" Bill S.
Croc Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Another idea is to upload the images to a free photo hosting website like Photobucket/Picasa/Webshots/etc and then just link the uploaded photos/embed images to this post. Currently, you have attached the images as files on USA7s and our forum has limits on size of files that can be attached. Hope this helps.
jbanker Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 Hi Loren, I only knew of two S2K's in Indy and one XR7; Paul S. (S2K) and Steve B. (XR7) The other gent with the S2K passed away over a year ago if I recall. Jack

stevengilo Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 What is the status of the Ultralite. Are the cars and parts still in production?
WestTexasS2K Posted October 11, 2011 Author Posted October 11, 2011 Yes the cars are still in production. I support the cars and any future parts you may need. http://www.wcmultralite.com
MMTX Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Hi Loren, Looks nice, ominously like another black one we know of... BTW, fender mold done. Full half round. Waiting on some new type mold release I am moving to, so I should be molding a fender next week.
Mondo Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 (edited) hmmm, Not ominous... but mine Edited October 12, 2011 by Mondo
rikker Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Mongo, how do you find the car with the full glass v the aeros? what is the cost for that piece? Thanks
Mondo Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 (edited) Mine came with the windshield, as I ordered the weather kit. I've never installed the kit (needs finishing touches by upholsterer). I like it. It's a little taller than stock (below). The wind deflectors (Westfield, with Cobra mounts) puts the turbulence right behind my head instead of in my left ear;) Still need a tight cap to keep from flipping off in a forward direction. If you saw how it was made, you wouldn't hesitate to try and make one... basically some C-channel, with plexiglass. Don't know how hard it is to make the template across the bonnet. I do need to change to some harder plastic, more like the kind that the wind deflectors are made out of (I have a lot of scratches in mine). Hopefully, the biggest benefit will be making a half-hood for shade. Or I could do something like this with my weather kit Edited October 13, 2011 by Mondo
Mondo Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Yeah, the top reminds me of some of the dune buggies in the 60s.
