I hear that Croc has added more carbon. Rumor has it that he's added so much carbon that it now weighs only 350 pounds.:bs:

I am hoping I have my new automated driving aid installed too! Apparently it helps me go harder and faster. :cooldude:

I'll check and see if the Finish line pub on site is open and make reservations if it is. If not we can head out and do dinner in town.

The track pub and restaurant is open on Sunday night and we get 20% discount for the entire table on food. Saturday night even has a wine tasting!

Just noticed on the SCDA website that they don't allow passengers. Is that rule still in effect? My brother is considering coming down on Monday, and wanted to take him out during a session.

Correct - no passengers as SCDA's insurance does not allow it.

However, bring him down Sunday. The Drivers Club member day that Tom and I are running on Sat and Sun does allow passengers. Jvbtte from this forum will be running as a passenger with me until he is sufficiently terrorized to not want to go out again. Tom will have a seat free once he takes his petty strut out.

I hope you let him out at the first chicane, he will be begging for it!

Well, we'll have just about the same number of Sevens in attendance and I have a tent, you have the grill, Steve's bringing the special brew. And they don't have Croc and Kitcat to provide the entertainment. So They've got nothing on us. :leaving::driving:

One week to go. Still time to sign up Stig!:seeya:

Point well taken. My car is about 80% back together, cutting it close, but I am sure checking on them twice a day should keep them moving.

Stay on them Karl. :hurray: No need for lights, passenger seat etc. Just extra weight and time. How's the new cage look? Have you tried getting in and out yet?

The cage is just beautiful. It looks just like the Caterham Superlight cage, just 4" taller and with an extra side impact bar. It is not on the car yet, so I have not been able to try getting in it. I'm bringing a shoehorn and Vaseline just incase.

Karl,

The Avons were great.

We can't have a group like that because those tents won't fit in my X3.

I may stay for Monday.

Glad you like the Avons and can stay for Monday. They will be all scrubbed in for this weekend. I'll be at Lightning (with any luck at all) on Saturday/Sunday.
