Bonjo2
Car is/will be carbon fiber black soon with white frame and roll cage. Looking for a wild color to paint my simple 5 spoke wheels and the inside mouth of the seven's nose, and contrast w the mostly carbon car. Looking at the recent trend on some of the GT cars (porsche & Donkervoork), it seems a fluorescent color would be best. I will do a different color later in the year when it comes time to order a set for track tires. Green (like Monster) Red (like the Blk Donker factory racer and Wht Porsche GT3 RSR) Pink (have daughters... Masculine color in Japan, but might just be gay here) Flat Blk Satin Blk Piano Blk Gold (like OLD BBS) Gold (Like Subaru STI) Bronze Silver (like stock, matches nothing on car less the header)
Jackal
I painted my last set of wheels Corvette Burnt Sunrise (copper) and think it could look great against the Carbon Fiber.
The Stig
Monster green rims with satin black centres! Saw some on a 'vette recently and looked awesome!
scannon
Bright orange should go well with the black c/f and white frame and roll cage.

Bonjo2
WOW. Love those last wheels. My AR23s are heavy and not as cool or high tech. They are more like boat anchors. I have 2 for sale with new tires. Hampton VA to Montgomery Village MD drop off only. 2 American Racing AR23 15x7, 5 on 4.75 bolt pattern (chevy), 3.5 BS w/205/50 Yok ADVAN Neova AD08 Mounted and balanced-less than 4 miles on setup
Marine7
If it were me... and its not. I'd think about going with a BRG colored wheel with a yellow rim stripe with similar colors on the mouth of the nose cone. The dark green will be subtle and would be a nice tribute to the Chapman era... My $.02 Cant really go wrong, can ya? Rgds Jason

Bonjo2
1. Pop 2lbs of fake rivets out these monsters 2. Paint top three colors. Fluorescent Red (like Bugatti GTS or Donker) Fluorescent Green, Grabber Green, or Metallic Flake Candy Green (Think Monster) Monster Low Carb Blue... Flat Tan/Brown--talk contrast. Mondo
You could go white too. A lot of work to keep clean but it would look good with your frame.

blubarisax
These are Mike Barnby wheels. Very cool looking, magnesium centers (a lot of work to keep safe) and very light. They were original equipment on the early R500s. You had to take very good care of them, checking for cracks often if you did not them to fall apart on the track. You can still get them made for you in the UK. Someone else may know more.
yellowss7
I have a set of the Mike Barnby wheels on my Caterham. They are really light, but as Karl mentions, they really don't like to be banged off the Curbing at the track. Nice part is they are Three piece rims and the outside and inside rims can be changed to vary the width fairly easily and those rims are not too expensive. The Magnisium centers on the other hand are Quite expensive. But really, really light. With the Avon CR500's on the rims, full of air, and in a carboard crate, I was able to pick all four up at once.
