I thought it would be fun and challenging to start a thread on rare cars.

You post, we guess, whoever guesses uploads the new mystery car.

Looks like a Talbot Lago GP car?

If that guess is correct what's this one?

That Talbo Lago looks a lot like this one. I cannot remember the year or model designation but I followed it around the track one day.

I think Bruce's car is a Bentley but don't know the details on it.

Here's my mystery car at the bottom.

Its looks like a 1928-30 Invicta 4.5L Sports.

They resurrected this brand about 4 years ago in the UK but I still have not seen their new car?

Croc is correct, it's an Invicta low chassis powered by a 4.5L Meadows inline-6.

Skip - You don't have a better picture of that car, do you? My first thought was a 1930's era Delahaye?

Is that a Talbot as well?

It is a Delahaye from the late 20s or early 30s. It is a one off land speed record car with a magnesium block v-12 engine. The way it was parked in the shop made it impossible to get a good picture of the whole car.

There is a documentary about the car on Discovery but I haven't been able to find it.

Its an AMC Pacer from a parallel dimension where the big three didnt get bail outs and AMC was the last car maker standing. A dark dimension indeed.

Terry,

I have no idea but maybe a one of Pininfaria Bodied MB roadster or Alfa Romeo or Aston Martin or Maserati.

The reason I say MB is the look of the dash layout from that photo and the Pininfarina logo on the side of the car.
