He told me this afternoon that you used to wear your diapers backwards and he never understood how you got to be called Suave whereas he ended up Les Suave. I offered to take him on a ride to the coast this afternoon but he was busy preening his feathers. He seems to be more self-conscious than Suave and would never allow me to use his butt to wipe my hood. He did however ask me how the new Toyo r888r tires felt on my Storker and I told him that the jury is out at this point. Addendum, I got home and inspected the new r888r's and found that the outer 1" strip of rubber on the two front tires and about 3/4" on the rear tires was not really making contact with the road with 19 pounds of air. I decided that I am going to lower the tire pressures to 17psi and see if I get a more uniform contact patch. 19psi may just have been a tad over-inflating? Bob, actually, Suave 'still' wears diapers, especially since I started using his butt as a California Car Duster. In his defense, he doesn't wear his diapers backwards...he likes wearing them inside-out, but only after a little Shard-onnay. :jester: Hello Ducks! For the record I DO drink moonshine, along with a little aged Ripple with some ice, gulped is my preference. I am a low-class, nasty stork you know. Pee Wee just jumped into the fray and is bashing Mr. Bill while Les just looks on in utter Stork amazement. Looks like your color choices may sicken your opponents on the track thus giving you the edge you probably always wanted. I am not in the same camp as my group of garage crazies other than maybe the blistering blue seat covers. Where is Gumby, my color consultant who has a different take on green? Finished up a few more items before departure: rear brake lines; refurbished and installed the grill; head lights, front park lights and turn signals (found the small LEDs down under - Croc should appreciate that); C&R Racing radiator; and mounted the Accusump. On the way over, I stopped in at the NCM Motorsports Park for a quick visit with Mario who was busy beating up on the Corvette folk. Engine is currently being rebuilt by SNL out of the Dallas area. Getting a bit more c.i.d. (LS3 short block) and a few more ponies. For now, the Storker is on the ground and awaiting a drive train (that should happen toward the end of September). I rolled in to Indy this evening and got together with Jack Banker and his friend, Dave, both of whom were kind enough to allow me to tie up their entire evening talking cars. Jack was also kind enough to take me for a ride in his extremely well built Stalker with it's turbo charged Eco Boost 4 cylinder; my first Stalker ride since Feb 28 at TWS (no, we did not get airborne). :jester: Dave's Stalker is equally well built; Jack and Dave's handy work. The camera doesn't capture the build and aesthetic quality of either of these cars; both need to be viewed up close and in person to be truly appreciated.
