It's hard to believe they could be so gullible... well not really when you see what passes for news nowadays

Apparently an intern at the NTSB confirmed the names for them before they went on the air.

I bet the intern thought it was a prank call and sarcastically said yes

The news anchors just read the TelePrompter. No interpretation. Whatever you put they say. Tons of examples on the web that they do this.

Would have liked to see video of the first moment someone at the newsroom realized what had just happened. Should have been some interesting conversations.
