I would only consider it if it had cycle wings - too much front end lift with clamshells :hat:

Could be fun. However, I already have a gas powered helicopter and the Traxxas truck. I have crashed the helicopter into the garage door bad enough to make the wife run outside and wonder if a full size jet liner had crashed into the house, and I took out her St. Francis statue with the Traxxas truck doing about 50 mph. Maybe I better not get involved with this one while I still have a wife. However, it does look like a fun car.

I don't think lift is an issue at 40 mph, or even 50 for that matter. My Traxxas truck has the upgraded engine and does over 65 mph, has the aerodynamics of a cinder block and never lifts unless I have jumped something (like when I was trying to jump over the wife St. Francis statue in the front yard.............bad idea).

I've always liked to have an RC of my current cars, and have been in RC since I was 12 years old. When I sold the Subaru Race car, I sold the RC copy as well. I first saw this car on a prototyping site for "upcoming" Yokomo projects and knew I'd be getting one the minute I saw it. With that I'm off to the interwebs, my birthday is right away.

I'm into RC cars, but has anybody taken a look at the front view of this?.....

It wouldn't take much to fix it but it doesn't take much to make it mess it up - just my $0.02.

The nose cone from the kit below would be an improvement - at 1/12th scale the whole body should fit, albeit a rather expensive route.

"Try try try again" obviously works 2nd time $74 3rd time tonight $34 US so I'm quitting now before it goes up again.

Now I have to search for a set of rims that look similar to 5 spoke Revolutions.

Mine still hasn't shipped yet! I'm excited to see this kit.

Mine was shipped Monday but no word as to whether they can source an unpainted body. Other wise I'm stuck with ugly yellow or I might just paint the Lexan from the outside.

As you can tell I'm finding it a long winter. The real Seven has not seen the light of day since early November, 3+ months is the longest it's ever sat since I bought it. :(

From the Yokomo website, here is an order sheet with many of the parts and numbers on it.

I would also like a clear body for it, but got the yellow. The clamshells come detached on the body only. I figure that it would be relatively easy to make some cycle fenders.

Whilst talking to the wife on the phone she said someone was at the door.

A package from Banzai, trouble is I'm heading to Calgary on Monday so still no time to play for another 2 weeks :(

Now that I have the chassis, all I need are some controls. Doh!

and battery and servos. Doh!

Any US distributors? :willy_nilly:

(yes, I'm new to this RC stuff)
