yellowss7
Shane please tell me that you were NOT hitting 120mph in 2nd gear.:willy_nilly: I hope that was 4th. It just amazes me how easily that car pull to 120. The engine sounds like it's around 4K rpm. In my yellow car, I'm straining to get 125mph. Once I learn how to push my foot down, the orange car might be a little faster,:cooldude: Tom
Kitcat
Loved seeing the rearward shots. Whole new perspective on the track (well, except for those occasions when I have actually been pointed backwards there:)).

I wish. :jester: Also, just to reiterate, I jacked up the Traqmate settings with a firmware update (shame on me) and didn't recalibrate the tach. On a couple of runs down the straight (second session video), I'm actually hitting the rev limiter (in 4th) at 6600 rpm. Carl's (your) car is gonna rocket down the straight. Before you know it, you'll be pushing the go pedal through the floor . . . with a big grin, of course. :driving:
xcarguy
Loved seeing the rearward shots. Whole new perspective on the track (well, except for those occasions when I have actually been pointed backwards there:)). How did you like my first-lap 360⁰ panoramic shot of turn one? And complete with waving yellow flag. :smilielol5: Now that I think about it, I had issues a couple of times at turn one during the weekend, and I was behind Croc both times. Hmmmmm. Edited August 7, 2014 by xcarguy
Croc
Well that explains why you looped on the first lap of the first session at turn 1 - your foot got tired against the force of gravity and it uncontrollably fell on the thottle pedal at just the wrong moment. Perfectly understandable how it was not your fault....:hat:

I think he’s about to wet his fluff. :smilielol5:
subtlez28
Cool video. The spin was quite exciting! It was odd seeing the Storker get passed so much. On the plus side, less (or almost no grip) grip means no oil starvation!

Yep, if you want to keep engine oiled good and proper, hit the track in the rain with some really slick tires. :jester:
