  1. For most people, height isn't an issue when fitting into a Caterham, it's their width. A good diet and regular exercise means an S3 could work for you. A few too many biscuits or gummi bears and you won't have a chance.
  2. Hey, go easy on the upper left corner of the country. With suitable driving days here at a premium, we may have a higher appreciation for our 7s than those of you who take dry weather as a right. Also, while Caterhams are rare, seeing a non-cat 7 is almost unheard of here.
  3. Keep in mind that the 620R is rhd only. Will that make any difference for you in getting it licensed? Also might want to check with http://www.super7cars.com in B.C.
  4. This is only half the problem you thought: If you can't get into the car, you won't have to worry about getting out.
  5. If you're planing on buying one of their cars and bringing it over here, remember that it has to be at least 25 years old to make through Customs.
  6. I may not be able to bring my Caterham to Spain, but at least I can bring my Caterham shirt.
  7. Having his tongs tied will make it quite difficult to operate the ice bucket.
  8. It is the clear film. I had mine professionally done, which was a good thing because of the difficult compound curves.
  9. I had the nose covered in 3M wrap several years ago. It has had up well and protected better than I could have hoped for.
  10. Off by about 500 https://www.carkeys.co.uk/news/caterham-sales-rise-during-successful-2017?social=CXK-TW-Content-20180130-Caterham%20sales%20rise%20during%20successful%202017&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=CXK-TW-Content-20180130-Caterham%20sales%20rise%20during%20successful%202017
  11. I believe that Beachman Racing has an unallocated build date still available. Worth checking on.
  12. In Seattle this weekend https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/one-night-mini-con-for-fans-of-classic-the-prisoner-coming-to-seattle/
  13. A definite probably, depending on timing and details.
  14. I was in my CSR the second time I saw the 7, so at least that driver is aware there are others out here. Called Bruce immediately after the first viewing and he also didn't know the car. The 420 near Carnation is over 50% complete.
  15. Twice in the last three days I have seen a silver Caterham with black stripes on roads in Redmond (Willows and Lk. Sam Pkwy). Since there aren't many Caterhams in the area, it was a real surprise to see another. If this is you, or someone you know, it would be good to meet up or exchange info.
  16. Just saw this is at the Crawford Auto and Aviation Museum in Cleveland. Very cool. http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=13090&stc=1http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=13091&stc=1http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=13089&stc=1
  17. I came to my senses and the CSR is no longer for sale. Croc- Thanks for pointing out it was still on Craigslist.
  18. I've seen conflicting reports, also showing a 200 top end. Either way, likely won't be an issue for me. At least for awhile.
  19. All turned out quite well. I got a new Jaguar F-Type SVR convertible and I get to keep the Caterham. Life is really good.
  20. Thanks, I'm pretty happy about it.
  21. CSR REPRIEVE: My car is no longer for sale. We have figured out how to fit three cars that deserve to be garaged in to a two car space. Spoiler alert: My plan involves a lift and repositioning a garage door. Thanks to everyone who contacted me, I hope you find the car of your dreams.
  22. Mike - Good catch. I figured if someone wanted to Buy It Now, I would save the time and trouble of any negotiations.
  23. Within two hours of posting my CSR on Craigslist, I received a text from "Roger Ellis" stating that he was interested in buying the car. He couldn't talk because he is a Marine on a secret mission at a military base and wasn't allowed to use a cell phone (but not so secret that he couldn't tell me). Without looking at the car or asking any pertinent questions, he offerred to pay full price using PayPal. Being the untrusting type, I told him that I could only accept cash or a certified check with sufficient time to clear. Imagine my shock when he declined. I have not heard back.Checking his e-mail address, I found others that had the same issues and had received the exact same messages. I'm shocked.
