  1. Now that is funny as the engine would have been the size of a lawn mower to fit in the front of an NSX.... NSX is most likely the most under rated Supercar that has ever been made but that is just my opion and belief. NICE LOOKING NSX you have their Oyagi. Could you post some photos of your car for us if you have the time.
  2. Thank you and I do belive it is a far price. Still for sale and that is OK with me.
  3. Yep the company that I am with uses them and if we order before 9am our time we usually have the parts by 1pm and if they are not delivered by then we will have them by 9am the next morning. If we palce any order after 1pm we have it the next morning by 9am. If they do not have it in stock they also will call or purchasing and tell them and let them know when the part or parts will be delivered to our business. Almost parts on demand at least for our business. A very good company also I do belive. :driving:
  4. Good store and a great adventure that you will always remember I would suspect.

  6. No Mini-Me would be more like it......:jester:
  7. I couldnot have kept a straight face while doing that...hell I could not say half of those words that he used and made up......I wounder what a dingalatorarm would look like???? Still chuckling and smilling.
  8. Their is that smile again......oh wait it has not gone away and the lady in the photo has the same condition..... I like the last photo the best.
  9. Mazda, Franklin 7 is looking good. Much different that when I saw it at the auto-x when I was back east. I like it much better now than then when you had the mouse on the trans console.
  10. Welcome to the world of 7's. Always something to tinker with when you least expect it.

    Which car ?

The Porsche 904 is worth more and would be easier to restore but that is just my belief. Cool photos never the less...just woundering where and how old some of those photos are.
  12. That is what happens when you are enjoying your new 7 (car) for the first real time. I bet your face will still have a big smile on it when you get home and the cheak musels will hurt from the smile you now have. Have a safe trip and enjoy your ride.
  13. Almost looks like a chunk of a tooth from the starters drive gear. Some starter drive gears are not tappered and are almost square but if miss engaged with the engine running they will break the leading edge of the teeth of either the ring gear on the flywheel or the starter drive gear. I would be looking at the starter drive gear to see if it shows any sign of tooth rounding as that drive gear is usually softer than the ring gear on the flywheel. Just my guess.
  14. Tunnel cover looks good. Now you just need to make a shifter boot out of some glove leather to finish it off so heat and road noise dose not come up and into the passanger compartment. I could not find a shifter cover that fit the hole in mine so I used a steering rack boot that fit the hole and the shaft of the shifter and then just cut it down to the correct length and in all the time I have had my car no one has ever noticed it and it was a cheap fix that seals very well.
  15. Yep we are also putting on a driver’s school for new Porsche owners on Saturday (6:30am till 3:00pm) which I am also involved with besides the auto-x on Sunday (6:30am-4:00pm). The drivers school consist of car handling mainly for street driving (how the cars react when put into situations and what to do and what not to do), proper braking, skid pad and a basic class on auto-x how to. We limit it to 30 cars with new owners getting preference and then filling any open spaces with other Porsches. This class is full of new Porsche owners. The auto-x is also full at 80 cars with a waiting list. The Santa Barbra auto-x had 60 car limit and a waiting list of 23. The Camarillo auto-x is the one that a lot of folks come to due to the course length and that it is a bit faster due to the size and layout of the course.
  16. Now that is one big SMILE you have their. Good looking 7 I like the photo of it on the trailer in the snow. Have fun and enjoy your new car.
  17. Hank, Google SpaceShipOne and Scaled Composites and Burt Ratan "http://www.scaled.com/images/uploads/elements/tierone_banner.jpg SpaceShipOne SpaceShipOne is a three-place, high-altitude research rocket, designed for sub-orbital flights to 100 km altitude. The unique configuration allows aircraft-like qualities for boost, glide, and landing. The ship converts (via pneumatic-actuated feather) to a stable, high-drag shape for atmospheric entry. This “care-free” configuration allows a “hands-off” re-entry and greatly reduces aero/thermal loads. Designed for a “shirt-sleeve” environment, the 60” diameter cabin has a space-qualified ECS, as well as dual-pane windows. The ship uses three flight control systems - manual-subsonic, electric-supersonic and cold-gas RCS. SpaceShipOne’s hybrid rocket motor is a non-toxic, liquid nitrous-oxide/rubber-fuel hybrid propulsion system. The avionics onboard provide the pilot with the precise guidance information needed to manually fly SpaceShipOne for boost and re-entry. It also provides guidance for approach and landing and vehicle health monitoring. The unit stores and telemeters flight test data to Mission Control." (Photo and information from Scale Composites web site.) First private company to put a reuseable spacecraft into space and return and then repeated the same flight. Winner of the X-Prize here is a link to their web site which the above information was copied from http://scaled.com/projects/tierone/spaceshipone_flies_again_within_14_days_-_wins_10m_x_prize
  18. Those guys are insane and are true adrenalin junkies. Here is a link that tells and shows Colonel Joseph Kittinger and the step he took from space. '>First man In Space - Skydiving from the edge of the world
  19. Stan, Thanks for the nice words about my 7. Your 7 should sell very quickly for what your asking for it as it has all the correct stuff that most folks are looking for in a 7 and especially a road legal California car.
  20. Twnpipe, Car look very good. :cooldude: Are you going to keep it as a track car or are you going to get it street legal as time permits. Missed you in Santa Barbra and was woundering if your coming down to the Camarillo Auto-x this weekend as I will be their also.

    Psa

That is GREAT I have sent that to all of my friends that have weapons....Still laughing. Sure will be a classic PSA on YouTube.
  22. Poor Guy. My wife just says make sure you take a cab home or call me and I will come get you if you drink more than you should. Maybe that is one of the reasons we have been married so long....24 yrs and counting.....besides she has never made me sleep in the garage as of yet....come close a couple of times though....
  23. Have to agree with you also that Gert's wind deflector doors are very neat and well though out as is his car. I have often though of copying Gert's design and adding it to my car but I just do not seem to find the time to do it so it is on the back burner as a to do item.
  24. Well RubberBanjos I respect you belief but that is what I am asking and if it sells for that I feel and know that the new owner will have a good deal and a lot of fun besides I do say open to reasonable offers will be considered plus I am in no real hurry to sell my 7. So slngsht are you saying that RubberBanjos is DB6 also? Oh well I belive everyone has a belief and an opinion and I am OK with that. By the way two more folks are looking at my 7 and it is still for sale at $17500.00 US Dollars at this point and time. :driving:
  25. Mazda, Franklin 7 has wider tires on it and hooks up better from what I remember.
