  6. Well Orange ia on the opening page of Super Car Sunday's site out here in Southern California as Morgan really likes to drive it a lot and is taking good care of it. Here is the link: http://www.supercarsunday.com/index.php
  7. There is a smart car running around out here in Ventura that has "FULL SCALE" in its rear window. First time I saw it I just started to laugh and though how appropriate.
  8. Thanks for the comment Swanson. It still for sale if your interested.
  9. Hi Mike, Sorry to hear about your car taking a leak on the garage floor. :jester: I can not say what hose's to use but I would empty the rest of that coolant and replace it with new coolant as it sounds like the coolant might now have kept from freezing and that might have caused the splits in the hose. Check for other signs like freeze plugs and any deformation of the radiator especially in the area of the top due to the expansion of ICE in the system. Sorry to have to suggest this but it is better to catch now than later.
  10. Well my Replica 7 is still for sale so if anyone is interested or knows of anyone looking for a LSIS and dose not have to have a Caterham then let them know. It is just time to pass it on to someone else that will enjoy it as much as I have over the past 5 years. E-mail me at MHKflyer52 @ gmail dot com or PM me and I will respond.
  11. You might want to try contacting Jack McCornack as I think he is still making aluminum rear fenders. Just make sure you put KV at the end of the subject line if you e-mail him as that is how jack sorts out the spam and junk mail. Here is a link to his site: http://kineticvehicles.com/contact.html Hope this help in your quest.
  12. Love the last photo with you and Doug holding the shotguns and the gent looking on as if to say should I even be here......:cooldude:.....

  14. Have to agree with that. That is why I boxed my trans tunnel in steel as seen in the attached link. http://picasaweb.google.com/MHKflyer52/ALotus7Replica#5076692536184139314 Put a drive shaft guard in your car as it is a lot cheaper than a hip replacement....
  15. Thats funny.....
  16. Here is a drive shaft gard that you can have made up or you can make youself out of some scrap plate. If you need to change the dimensions to fit your trans tunnel it is easy to do. I would make two of them and place them so they are 2 inches aft and fwd of the universals containing the driveshaft. Just my thoughts and hope this helps. If you want a drawing for this to take to a shop and have made e-mail me and I will make one to your dimensions for you.
  17. Scott, The link you provided does not seem to be working as it takes you to the upload page only.
  18. Someone is trying to tell you to buy a FORD....LOL....SHAKING HEAD....LOL....

  24. scannon....I don't know if it is true or not but the Navy / Marines do have a training area (Military Operating Area) just up the coast from Oceanside, Ca. called Camp Pendleton and they due do low level flights in the MOA from time to time and the area is pretty desolate even though I-5 dose run down the coast across the base. I cannot say if the F-18's are armed for defense all the time but I would not doubt that they could be especially today with all of the new policies that have come about since I retired in 1990 from the Navy and Military flying (20yrs, 3months, 28days active duty, 13746hr of flight time) but if you read the original post you will see that it said they were on a training mission and they could have practice rounds and armaments on the AC which could do what is stated. Just my thoughts and in no way any real idea if it is a true story….but I could see it happening..... Here is a photo of the area.
