  1. slngshy, Those cleclos will only hold that scoop on for a very short time when driving....or are they the Electrical connectors that you use to start Franklin 7’s pulse in that mad workshop you have…..just kidding. Looks good and even looks menacing in flat black.
  2. But is that not why you named it "Mojo"....:jester:....and why you do not owen an Atom.....
  3. That is one of the best front photo shots I have seen of a Stalker. The commentary is also very good and is what sharing is all about.
  4. Have to agree. Very nice and cleaning looking. I would have to say the plaque that sits out for everyone to see that was made by a friend (Joseph D. Garrison,M.Ed.,LPC) for letting him drive my 7. Just makes me smille when I think about the smile on Joe's face during and after the drive.
  5. Now that is funny....
  6. Sure makes it look very classic...I like it...
  7. That is funny but so very wrong....shooting all those folks would mean the Sheriff's Department would have nothing to do then....:jester:.....

Yep "Two Bags" but not upside down. :smilielol5:
  9. Now that is funny.
  10. I have been following your post and you might want to contact one of these businesses as they can most likely convert your gauge for you at a reasonable cost. http://www.speedometerplus.com/ http://www.nhspeedometer.com/ Just a suggestion and no affiliation with them but they both do good work. Here is a link to even more places that might be helpful. http://www.vintagepartsource.com/instrument_repair.htm Hope this helps.

I am with slingsht on that as I do belive Kevin is the fastest sevener in the USA especially in the rain on a wet track and I will bet he really knows his neighbor hood.
  12. So still no windshield....or are you just going so fast that you have smashed a lot of bugs on the road on your short ride...:cooldude:...:jester:...
  13. Laughed so hard I started to choke......that is a good one. :smilielol5:
  14. That is for sure...like mine. :cooldude:
  15. Isn't that the TRUTH. "Now I do it in seven."
  16. So Robert, What was stuck in the shifter boot that would not let you go into reverse? Inquiring minds would like to know.....:bigear:......
  17. Look into these if you want the carbon fiber look and do not want to spend a small fortune http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/5/83/9929/DPITEM/Street-Bike-Mirrors-Bikemaster-Carbon-Fiber-Look-O-E-M--Replacement-Mirrors.aspx Just like the ones I have but shorter arm from mount to mirror.
  18. Well first let me say hello and good day to you. As for the General Tech section not being used or as you say moving I do not agree but that is OK as we all do not have to agree with each other as long as we respect each other and understand that this forum is a place that information can and is passed onto others for their uses as they see fit and in no way is the only answer to a question that someone asks. The General Tech section has over 23 pages of questions and answers that due duplicate something’s and do not address other things at the sometime but it also provides a source for someone to ask a question and possibly get an answer to their question or the direction to the answer that they are looking to try and find as do the other section of the forum. As for joining the forum as a paid member it is just a way to support the organization /forum and its members as it is a no-profit forum to the best of my limited knowledge that allows anyone that is interested in LSIS (Lotus Seven Inspired Sevens) a place to ask questions and to post experiences and things that might not be of interest to all but might have some information that someone could find interesting and useful so joining the forum as a paid member is just a way of showing that you support the forum and group and any person that has an interest in any type 7 from the homebuilt 7 (like mine) to the original Lotus 7's and all forms of 7's in between so yes becoming a paid member is well worth the money in my belief and yes I am a paid member just to let you know that feels the membership fee is very just and put to good use for the USA7’s.ORG and it’s members.
  19. Hello SKI HI, Well I can only say that I have a set of rear view mirrors that are for a motorcycle mounted on the dash cowl forward of the windshield on my carand they provide great rearward viewing with out vibration or distortion and in my humble belief they even look good. I sourced them from the local motorcycle shop and they were under $35. Their is a photo of my car and the mirrors in this thread: http://www.usa7s.com/vb/showthread.php?t=3944&page=3 Hope this helps and if you need more information just let me know.
  20. Well my 7 is still for sale and now that the weather is starting to look good for driving without having to wear a snowmobile suit it is the perfect time to purchase a 7 of any make or model. I am still asking $12500.00 for my car and am open to all reasonable offers so if you’re interested or know of someone who wants a 7 and does not have to have a Caterham then let them know about my 7 being for sale. I can be reached at 503-201-1952 (my cell) or by e-mail through the forum or at MHKflyer52 at g mail dot com.
  21. That is just remarkable that the Admiral did not start to laugh or just come out and ask him if he is that stuppid to think the island of Guam would capsize with twenty thousand more people went to the island. I bet the Gumainians are just laughing their heads off over that. I also wounder why the news media did not pick that up and let the American public know just how stuppid this representitive of the US Government is but wait they the public would most likely think that it is true because a government official was concerned about the island tipping over.
  22. Mazda, You need to figure out how to put airspeed and altitude into the video so you can see them. So why are you not playing with Franklin7......
  23. The little storage unit is a good idea and looks correct. Nice job.
  24. I have to agree that the Miata is one of the best sports cars to come along and in the years to come will be looked at as a great sports car that it is. The Miata is the best selling sports car ever made and more of them have been sold since 1989 than all sports cars combined since it first came out. Yes I am bias as I have one (1996 Black and Tan) and I drive it more that I drive my Replica 7 or my Porsche 914-6 or my MG Midget any of the other cars that I have and my wife will tell you I am in no way gay. I just figure that they have never driven a Miata or they would not think it is a gay car at all or they are just not sure of themselves. :cooldude:
  25. Sure is a good one. I have to owe you unless you want to take monoply money.
