In (very) British Columbia (that's Canada eh) Brooklands Aero Screens "don't fly" for licensing. All windshields have to be one piece (bridging both sides of the scuttle, they have to be made of safety glass and you must have windshield wipers (2 speeds) with squirters). Nonetheless I love mine (if only for dramatic effect)! If you are planning to mount Brooklands you will have to modify one of the mounting brackets (or build a mounting platform , like I did) that conforms to the curvature of the scuttle. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/2101372055_Sept 2006 pics 005.jpg

Hey Mazda, How is a WASP like me supposed to reply to this without offending someone, someone's faith, someone's culture? Flumuxed

Thanks for sharing.

I love my Wendy to bits, but she will NEVER drive our SR7!...In fact she is terrified of even riding in it! When I finished building the car I took her for a spin around the neighborhood. All she could do was scream "SLOW DOWN", "YOU'RE GOING TOO FAST" and "WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE"! We were going 15 miles an hour! After several more outings Wendy is much more at "home" with the 7 now, but by her own admission she says that she feels safer as a passenger than a "would be" driver. Cheers! Jim Gould

Absolutely Awesome! BTW that's a hell of a lot of "o 's"!
-
Other way round, isn't it?
-
Well we have a pole now!
-
Congratulations, one and all! It's reassuring to know that there are at least 399 other demented souls out there. Has any one tried to pole our group as to whether they are enthusiasts or owners? Although it really doesn't matter whether you are an owner, or not, it would be interesting to see how many SEVENS exist in North America.

We have appointed three dealers in North America to supply kits to their local areas to increase our production and customer support. The new dealer locations are Montreal Quebec, Chicago USA, And Burlington Ontario. We have also introduced the new SR27 thanks to the dealer in Montreal. They supply us with the SR20 DET engine to install in the SR7 frame. This engine has the same dimensions as the Mazda miata engine but a lot more HP. Montreal also decided that they only want to sell complete versions of this car at a very high finish level. The chassis is double skinned with aluminum and fully insulated to increase chassis stiffness, reduce heat and vibration. The Sr27 is only built on the wide frame with the miata donor parts. This new frame and donor has been performing and handling very well. We have run up to 320 hp on this set up with the small miata diff. The SR20 engines and all the donor parts are fully refreshed and rebuilt and then installed in the SR27 looking like they did when they came out of the factory. Some added features that come on the SR27 are 16 x 8 rims & tire on the front and 16 x 10 rims & tires on the rear, Smith gauge set, Aluminum Switches, Body colored aluminum panels, aluminum fuel tank, aluminum side pods, Aluminum hood with louvers. If you have any questions or comments please contact me at info@deman-motorsport.com Deman SR27 320 hp Nissan Turbo motor running on the new Mazda Miata donor kit DEMAN July 2007 http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/269961759_DEMAN Turbo SR27.jpg New SR27 Nissan SR20 DET Motor 210 hp standard Built on wide chassis Miata based http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1129300967_Deman SR27.jpg

It's really quite simple, isn't it?. It's: Kate (as in Kiss me Kate) Awe (as in awesome) Rum (as in Rum...a potable beverage/spirit indigenous to the West Indies. KATE-AWE-RUM. :ack: :ack: :jester:

Don't live by an Oscar Wilde quote! He also said: "America is the only country that went from barbarism to decadence without civilization in between." and "To disagree with three-fourths of the British public is one of the first requisites of sanity."
-
But what happened to Massa's 3 second lead with so few laps remaining?
-
Of course you are referring to the British Kit Car (properly:ack: ) pronounced CAT URR HAM
-
I always thought that a good plate for the back of our car should read: "BYE BYE"
-
very:ack: :ack: :ack:! , although with a little glass work, some bondo and if you flipped it over it might make do as a boat. :ack: :ack: :ack:

Do I sense a defection?

Something to debate, perhaps hotly...
BusaLoco replied to Al N.'s topic in General Sevens Discussion
I don't have a green card, and (Hell) I don't even have a passport (yet) so I don't know if it's fair for me (a Canuck) to offer an opinion. Notwithstanding my lack of qalification I will humbly submit that "Sevens" are a movement and this forum is just that. ... A FORUM where (obsessed) people come together to discuss their "disfunctional" obsession with this crazy "SeVeN" thing! It really doesn't matter (to me ) whether it's USA7s or Scottish Sevens or Blat Chat ot Locost Builders or every other stinking blog that maintains and perpetuates the stream of endorphines that feed our frenzie. ... Just give us the Damn Drugs Man! -
http://www.arielmotor.co.uk/04/frames.htm ... The next thing we are going to see is an Ariel Atom and Atom"Clone" Forum for owners of Ariel Atoms, Atomesque , Atom Replicars and entusiasts ot the Iconic Atom marque ... Hmm ... Let's see now ... usaAtoms.com ... or maybe ... CaliforniaAriels.com ... (PS The Domain Names are available too!) FYI "Ariel", "Atom", and the "Ariel Atom" logo device are registered trademarks of the Ariel Motor Company. :d http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1641128545_anilogo2.gif
