  2. Isn't it remarkable how the most cerebral and thoughtful discourse can be reduced to it's basest element? :ack: ... anywhay me like shiny metal bra! :jester:
  3. I've got good news for you. The Busa only came with FI. ... The Busa Bible sais so. BTW you might like to research the T-REX. It's Kawa powered but would make a really good "trike" platform to copy! Promo Vids
  4. Who is running a Busa engine? . I am. Are you still running the Fuel injection or carbs? . Still running the fuel injection. BTW Why would I run carbs? How difficult is it to wire the fuel injection and coils? . Just use the Bike loom. Is there a source that has a wiring diagram? . Buy the Busa Bible (Hayabusa Manual) ... It has complete wiring diagrams. Good luck on your build! PS your car should be well under 900 lbs. The Busa engine weighs just 178lbs and a complete (Deman) Busa 7 can weigh as little as 985 lbs!
  5. Greetings and Congratulations fellow old dude with a habit. :ack: :banghead: :hurray:
  6. That's a "Crocodile" mate ... Gators are only indiginous to the Americas and in any event a Gators aren't pros like the Lions and Buffalo. :d ... To me, that "Gator" just looked like an enthusiastic, albeit, somewhat misguided fan.

  8. Welcome my rotary clone brother.
  9. Pretty cool cockpit rebuild, I must say. What I am talking about is that with our Hayabusa powered 7 we have used the bike loom and have added all the extra goodies onto the loom. On the bike there were a lot of extra sensors associated with the air box and other unused bike wiring that is not suited to or measured to fit our car. ... I've made it work but I'm not satisfied. I know that I can do it better. I have the Hayabusa bible so there's no trouble mapping and that way I can place everything where I want (not just where I can make it fit).
  10. Hi Peter, I haven't done the can upgrade yet. ... Still wearing ear plugs. By the way, I was looking at the super7cars.com website and noted that they wrap their own looms. Working with the existing loom has been OK but I have been toying with the idea of laying out a loom that will be a custom fit for our car. I think it might make a good winter project. I really would like to clean up the tangle of wires behind the dash.
  11. Mazda, You are absolutely amazing! ... Have you ever considered that by the end of your re"build", you will have successfully reverse engineered a (not so) "LOCOST"? ...
