  1. Well it is two months until the Midwest Se7ens Gathering. The dates are June 9-12, 2011. I hope everyone is done or almost done with their winter modifications. I for one have got a couple of more items on my “to do list” like install a new oil pump and build a cover for my open trailer. This gathering is going to be a lot of fun. Driving these twisty roads in northern Arkansas is the greatest. We are going to try to have two different groups on the blats. One that enjoys a spirited drive and one that likes a more relaxed drive. So if you have not signed up yet do so. You can do it by sending me or Julian D. a PM on this forum or an email. Also if you haven’t reserved your room or camping spot yet you need to do so soon because there are just a few spots left at the host hotel. If it is full you will have to get lodging 7 miles away in Harrison, Arkansas. Remember you do not have to have a Se7en to participate, just the desire to be with like minded friends and exchange ideas. We are looking forward to seeing all of you there. This WILL be the high point of your year. 5. Try this link to see the road (I hope it works) http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&ll=35.985959,-121.485658&spn=0.015661,0.027595&t=h&z=15
  6. We just got back from a trip to California and drove from LA to SF on Hiway 1. Just past the Hearst Castle we saw a sign saying the road was closed ahead. Well in the Midwest when a road is closed they point you to a detour. Well they don't do that out west I guess. A guy on a BMW bike told us about a road at mm 18 called Nacimento-Fergerson Rd. (across from the Kirk Creek Campground) that would get us over to hiway 101 without having to drive 200 miles out of our way. Now that was a fun road but not for going fast. An unGodly amount of twists and turns. Up hills and down hills. Very tight!!!! It is only about 1 1/2 cars wide. If you get a chance to drive it do so. Google map it. Russ
  7. That's sick!!!! But funny, thanks, Russ

  20. OK, I give up. About a year ago I saw a post on one of the Se7en sites that showed how to disassemble a cheap 12v air compressor to make it lighter and more portable. I have searcher the archives and no luck finding it. Anybody remember where it was? I need it for my son’s high school robotics robot they are building. Thanks in advance, Russ
