Well my cable snapped yesterday so I can't go blatting on this fine holiday weekend. I can't find anything in town that even comes close to my cable. I have a British made Locost that is RHD and has a Ford xflow 1300cc with a 4 speed. Basically a "book" build. Pinto, Capri, xr4ti, and Fiesta cables don't look like they fit or none in KC. The cable cover is about 22" OL and the cable is about 31" OL. pedal end has an eye and the clutch end has a ball. Any suggestions what might fit? I'll call Bean and BAT on Tuesday and see what they have. UK ebay has lots of them. The Midwest Gathering is coming up and I need to find one. I don't think 12.5's will fit in mine. My 8.5's sometimes hit the brake and gas at the same time. I think you will need more room. A Stalker is only marginally better than mine. Russ

Does anyone know if there is a 2 barrel carb that is smaller than a 5200 (which is 32/36) and fits the same bolt pattern (or is adaptable)? I have tried to rejet mine and can't get it to run right with smaller jets. It runs good now but it is way too rich. The motor is a xflow 1300cc not a 1600cc. Russ

I've rode M/C's since 1963. I rode motocross on Yamahas and Carabellas in the early 70's. I switched over to Observed Trials in 1974 and still compete to this day at 60 yrs young. Drove on the street on a Yamaha 750 triple (POS) for a few years in the mid 70's but the street is too dangerous now. Too many idiots texting while driving. Russ
