From the sticker, this ZZR appears to have an A46 compound. I wonder if that’s what they’ve settled on, as a in-between from the previous A64/A24/333 compounds?

I too, have the 3.91 BMW diff, which had the Titan internals. Now have a BMW diff with tracsport lsd. Happy with it for the past few seasons.

That’s really good to hear.

Gorgeous spec on that!!

1997 Trailex 7031. 715lbs, plus the spare tire and holder; <800lbs. Surge brakes on all 4 wheels. I like the security of the 2nd axle, but wouldn’t have been against a single axle trailer if this hadn’t turned up on Racing Junk when I first needed it.

Mine (420-spec with roller barrels) also hesitates/stumbles if I give the throttle too big a stab off idle. It always has. But as you note, once under way, it’s not an issue. Really just a nuisance in local stop and go driving, it a non-issue at the track. Not sure if that’s the hesitation you’re speaking of.

I had a misfire at the track that turned out to be a slightly loose battery cable. Forgive me if you’ve already checked this, but it might be worth a quick look.

That’s what worked for me.

Tracsport installed their LSD two or three yrs ago, if memory serves me.

The Tracsport is quite well known for performance and durability in these circles. I haven’t heard of any complaints from anyone using one. My 2017 Caterham with LSD ought to have had the updated Titan design (I think), but still crapped out, so I opted to swap to the Tracsport. Maybe folks in the peanut gallery will chime in here?
-
For reference, my 2017 Seven 420 (nee 360) had a Titan BMW LSD fail. Tracsport in the UK provided (and installed) their LSD into a new BMW diff that they bought directly from Caterham UK. Then they shipped it here and I installed the “pumpkin” as a whole, rather than having the LSD shipped here and having a transmission shop install it into the carrier Stateside. It was a fine solution for me.

Seb, this is great news. You’ve gone mental, which seems to be the natural progression of well driven Se7ens drivers;)
