  3. No problems. There are some threads here about pulling it out. I made sure that the steering wheel lock was not engaged by turning the ignition on. Mine came right out. Some guys have had to use a bit of force. It is possible to damage the white plastic bushing that is in the dashboard so I bought a spare.
  4. I bought the QR and top shaft from them. The QR is already attached to the upper column. Easy installation they are very nice to deal with.

  7. On my car, a '82 S-3, the master cylinder has separate lines/circuits for the left and right front brakes. When I ordered a new Spitfire master cylinder it had one circuit for the left and right front brakes. The left side was worn and my brakes pulled to the left. Rather than modify the plumbing I found a shop that rebuilt/sleeved master cylinders and had it rebuilt. Jeff was not able to sleeve them but did an excellent job of rebuilding them. http://www.karpspb.com/cylinders I bought my pads from Porterfield. https://porterfield-brakes.com/ I bought a kit to overhaul the front calipers from Moss Motors and it came with the O-rings. No leaks yet... Tom

  13. Many years ago I built two panels for my Cessna 140. It wasn't that difficult with a couple of the correct size chassis punches, a small shear, and files and such. The most difficult part was rolling the bottom of the panel under 90 degrees for a small lip. I had the local junior college metal shop do the bend, they did the radius to sharp and I got to make another panel. I am by no stretch of the imagination a craftsman, but it came out very well. Today there are a number of online resources that will help you design a panel and then they will cut the panel that you design. Tom

  16. I bought the cigarette lighter socket I installed at West Marine but I don't see it on their website now. Aircraft Spruce has some, one of which is stupidly expensive.
