  1. I had all 35 boxes open as I was packing them... The smell was strong (they were all like that). I think it might be from the new wrist bands?
  2. Seven manufacturers aren't Ford/GM. I'm sure fresh ideas from the field factor into their product development.
  3. for any given engine, flow rate in lb/hr = peak power (hp) * BSFC (brake specific fuel consumption). BSFC is roughly about .5 to .55. So, if hp=200, lb/hr is roughly about 100. Hope this helps.
  4. woohoo... I got emails from a couple others who also received them. The 2nd package did not arrive before I went on vacation, so any of you with women's watches, and the last handful with mens watches will have to wait till the 2nd shipment arrives.
  5. The only problem I see so far with this design is the area where you would put your left elbow (on left hand drive). As I'm hacking up my car, it has become so clear how important it is to have a low opening right in front of the rear wheel to rest your elbow. It seems like this design takes some of that room away.
  6. Bob, same here
  7. I just emailed you what I think is the right driver... if not, I got the driver from here http://www.touchscreen.com.hk/download.htm After a couple of hours of banging my head and trying different things, finally what made it work was to uninstall my com port, restart the machine. I didn't try all the available touchscreen types from that driver yet, but the infra red serial port one is the first one that worked for me. The touchscreen on this unit (at least with the driver that I tried) is not the best...
  8. If you decide to go the blog route, I can start something here. I already installed a blog package for testing...
  9. John, I have been looking but have not found any canned solutions I can implement without spending some time on it. I will look some more.
  10. Any info about this car?
  11. Welcome aboard. I'm in Rockville. My car is temporarily out of commission, but I'm always game for getting together for whatever.
  12. Can I have some pickets to titsburgh?
  13. Nicely done. Should've used fishing line instead of chains on the engine hoist :jester:
  14. Santa is very generous around here

  16. I just have two questions... how much does it weigh i wonder if I can shoehorn my Rotus into it :jester:
  17. Since there was no "All of the above", I chose "More than one of the above"
  18. ... and shuttling around on a sleigh. Today he showed up early with a brown uniform, clean shaven, driving a brown truck He delivered a set of headers, brake pedal assembly with remote adjuster, and clutch pedal assembly. He's DA MAN! edit: forum admin posts in the wrong forum :leaving:

    RST V8's

The trick is to post an impressive power number without the "not bad..." If someone else wanted to pay for it, and cover the warranty, I'm willing to scrap my lazy V8 for that thing... Until then, I'll live with 440hp (soon to be 480 with headers). Life is all about compromises
  21. Well, 4 hours of packing last night, and 3 hours of waiting at the freaking FedEx store, and USPS, and everything labeled "SENT" in the first post in this thread has been shipped. Except Ian7 - still waiting for address. Shipping was a little more than I had planned, but still OK. FedEx charged about 7 to 8 for most packages - I had budgeted 8 for shipping and handling (including padded envelope). But most of you had thrown in a few extra bucks, so no sweat. FedEx wanted $50 to ship Busa's package because he posts in French  So for our Canadian friends, I went over to USPS. I have tracking numbers for everyone except Canadian packages (that would have cost alot more). If you absolutely must have a tracking number, let me know and I'll get it for you. I shipped in the order of the list in the first post. I skipped over any orders that had "woman" watches, since those have not come in yet. If the second package comes in today, I will take it on my vacation with me, and ship the rest from there. Otherwise, things will get delayed by a week. Everyone who has a package in the mail should have also received an email from me, confirming address and contents. The emails started out nicely, wishing you a Merry Christmas, etc... By the end, it was more like "here's your damn box" :jester: Fortunately the Skins took care of the Vikings while I was doing this... If Vikings had come back and won, a few of the watches may have been damaged :blueangel: :blueangel: :blueangel: Hope they all arrive in one piece
  22. As Arya said, if it's uniformly applied to the bolt, it's ready to go. At least on GM stuff, alot of bolts you get from the factory come the same way. I imagine these are the same.
  23. 25 Years since his passing
