  1. 16 miles these days... takes about 35 minutes in the mornings, 45 in the afternoons.
  2. Normally I'd say the wife is always right, but in this case she actually is right
  3. yeah, surprised they don't have videos on that site from the dyno tests of those engines after the recent rebuild
  4. Hi, Does anyone have left over brake hoses after converting to wide track? Looking for a set - let me know price...

  8. Well, my old seven is all mangled, and the new one is in some stage of fabrication, but there are a few around here that we could pull together. Michael D - Bethesda Jeff D - Norther VA Scott (914n951) MD Norm - MD Dermott - MD There are probably 10 others local.
  9. Good!
  10. Thanks for taking the time to share

  13. apparently the mounts I have had a known problem. They'll replace them free of charge
  14. K I contacted their support and they'll ship me a newer design  I like your mount though. I'll try one of those.
  15. Do you have any play in the part that slides onto the rails? The rails are solid, but there's some excess play between the plastic part and the aluminum rails. My camera came with several of the plastic mounts, most of them new still in the bag, and they all have some play.
  16. anyone here have them? I recently got a slightly used ContourGPS. Happy with the camera, but the attachments they have for the railing system have some slop that results in a slightly shaky video. A small segment of my commute to work... I just did a screen capture of their storyteller software without sound.
  17. Thanks for sharing Skip
  18. I had seen both, but for some reason I keep forgetting the CTS-V one... Every time I see it, I have to watch it till the end before I remember I had already seen it And thank you Hank for the thread save LOL
  19. Peter, it requires a password.
  20. hmmm... Croc is currently in Sydney I have family there - perhaps on the next visit... Welcome aboard.
  21. Happy new year everyone. Glad 2011 is over. Strange year.
  22. laser cutter will be way cool - i'm still playing with the settings to minimize dross.
  23. Jerry, I do everything the hard way. LOL. These are simple enough where I did the bends with ruler and a protractor. I don't even have any software like you get with torchmate. I use CamBam, which is a basic 2D cad/cam software to generate the GCode. Then I wrote a little script that does the torch on/off functions at the right places as well as the little delay when the torch is turned on. It's still not nearly as nice as what torchmate does - things like starting the cut slightly inside the hole, but good enough for my home-made operation (matches the rest of my tools).
  24. Russ, I have realized I will need regular delivery of sheetmetal now. LOL
