  7. Josh, you're definitely more than welcome here. No competition between the two sites... members here regularly mention locostusa to new people looking for more build oriented information... I look at it as locostusa is very useful during the build process, and usa7s is more focused on ownership and using the car, whether you built it, assembled it, or bought it.
  8. Sorry to see you're selling it Jeff. Good luck with the sale and your future toys.
  9. TALLAHASSEE, Fla., May 6 (UPI) -- Mandatory drug testing for welfare recipients soon will be the law in Florida. The measure passed the state Senate 26-11 Thursday, The Miami Herald reported, following 78-38 approval by the House in April. Gov. Rick Scott has made it a priority. "It's fair to taxpayers," the governor said after the vote. "They're paying the bill. And they're often drug screened for their jobs. On top of that, it's good for families. It creates another reason why people will think again before using drugs." Scott earlier issued an executive order requiring random drug testing of state employees. The bill makes all adult recipients of federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families benefits pay for the tests, which usually cost about $35, but those who pass will be reimbursed. Recipients who test positive for any illicit substances -- after disclosing all prescriptions they take -- will lose benefits for a year. A second failed test will cost them benefits for three years. Parents will have to designate another adult to collect benefits for their children. The measure provides no funds for drug treatment. 1993

think back to 1993... many of us in the general public were just about to get on the internet. This is a series of "You Will" ads from AT&T. It's amazing how much of what they showed is actually in our hands now, in much better packaging than what they showed. That was just 18 years ago.

Need someone to take over getting this event going. I might be able to drive up, but definitely not with Frankn7 this year. Any volunteers?
  20. oh man, been there a couple of times in the winter... Sugarbush / Killington area, and once in the summer at Middlebury. Beautiful area with a lot of great roads.
  21. Dave, where did you move to?
  22. June ain't happening
  23. so... talked to Arya this morning, and I'll be keeping Frankn7. I guess I will start planning next month
  24. Martin, hopefully I can make it out there in the next year or so. I really enjoyed the couple of days out there on my way to and from Sydney. Beautiful area. The A mod car will be for autox only. I have purchased the motor and have a basic design in mind, but have not gone any further. Need to finish my CNC router, and reorg the garage - Too many things going on to really focus on it.
