  3. hello, im in the bucks county area in PA and have recently bought a WCM miatalite. registration is HARD... bumpers, dot lighs, windscreen, and a bunch of other things that will make your head spin. best be is to buy one preregistered in pa, one that has had a good shakedown. Roman
  4. Hello, No, im not 45... but it was 45 out today! So i got my wcm miatalite back from the shop the other day and have spent few hours out of her since! Today was the coldest ive driven in the car i think and im pritty sure i will be fine with 40. I had gloves, scarf, hat and leather jacket on. NO heat except what radiates from the engine and no half doors/roof. I felt "HARD CORE"... Got lots of thumbs up and odd looks but i guess thats comon for a se7en even on a nice day. Roman

  9. I am a huge collector of Japanese Animation and would like to let you guys know that this is Anime not a cartoon or CARtoon. The market and story lines resemble more Hollywood then Walt Disney; meaning these are not always meant for young kids. That being said this is a cool little series i had seen a long time ago with English subtitles. I had totally forgot about it till i seen this thread. If anyone wants i can try to find a way to get the complete series to you via internet :flag:
  10. well this is no good... i just got my se7en and you the most local owner.
  11. my registration and plate sticker came in the mail!!!! WooT wOOt. 1 point for the under dog!
  12. hello again from a slightly tanner seven owner . i just got home an am a lil worried that i dont have any mail with my reg sticker for the plate on my seven... can this be the state messing with me?:ack:
  13. Good news!! Im glad i found a nice girl at the VANS AUTOTAGS on street rd and york rd. that had never seen an "assembled" title. While filling in my paperwork she asked me what the make was and what she should put in model, i just blurted out 2007 lotus... She then gave me a license plate, temp registration and sent me on my way. Well yesterday came the title and it says 2007 lotus :hurray: . Im hoping my actual registration comes through and i will be over the last hurdel with this beast. That way i wont have to deal with any sort of state million point inspection. Im off now to vacation, 12 day cruise. hope to see you guys on the streets in the spring.
  14. Tom, in case i need bumpers, would you be able to lend me your old ones?
  15. was 40 a few days ago in the am and i was driving. no heater, no top, no doors, no real windshield (bikini)... lets just say i enjoyed it more then the ballast.
  16. now what to do with the obd2 scan port?
  17. hello, so i finally got around to getting the paperwork done for my car. i figure since the car has been titled prior in another state i should be ok... i go out to the local auto tags place, they take one look at the title and tell me to go get it inspected at one of these (gives me a list) inspection places :banghead: . willing to give it another go, i drive down the street to another tag place. the take the title and issue me a tag on the spot . so now i just need to "inspect" the car. i have my local friend and mechanic write me up some stickers and send my on my way. now i am beginning to worry. if the state sends the title back and im forced to go to the inspection station its going to cost me big money for the car to pass. at this point i don't have the following : mirrors, bumpers, reverse lights, obd2 scan port, full windshield, wipers, yada yada. some of the issues are remedied easier then others. im confident that if i will have to add all of this crap to the car to make it pass i will just sell it off  . while i LOVE the car, i just don't think i will be able to afford it.
  18. here are the engine bay and exhuast shots. items to note: 1) yes there is a clusterfuck of wires, this is why the SDS is going to disapear. 2) yes there is cardbord under my pedals, i dont have a pedal cover yet so at times it get awfully tosty 3) thats my exhuast, i have a VERY nice long header leading into the tunnel. its not bad but a tight fit. http://www.hostdub.com/albums/GotEuroCorrado_album08/CIMG1162.sized.jpg http://www.hostdub.com/albums/GotEuroCorrado_album08/CIMG1161.sized.jpg http://www.hostdub.com/albums/GotEuroCorrado_album08/CIMG1159.sized.jpg http://www.hostdub.com/albums/GotEuroCorrado_album08/CIMG1158.sized.jpg http://www.hostdub.com/albums/GotEuroCorrado_album08/CIMG1157.sized.jpg http://www.hostdub.com/albums/GotEuroCorrado_album08/CIMG1156.sized.jpg http://www.hostdub.com/albums/GotEuroCorrado_album08/CIMG1155.sized.jpg
  19. thanks for the comments guys. MHKflyer52 the exhaust follows the center channel runnign along the same path as the trans and drive shaft, its tight but its in there. Boxologist First thing im doing power wise is gutting the SDS engine management and dumping in a hydra engine management system tuned by ken hill , turbo later??? time will tell. i like the gauges a lot but im still unsure on the wheel and knob. they are booth nardi parts and the quality is nice. i will probably put on a momo millennium wheel and a nice leather shift boot on as my first mods (since i already have the parts) the driver seat is a actually not too bad. you sink into it pretty far. the only problem is that there is only 1 lap belt holding me in and i feel like im going to get bounced out. the benefit is that the seat absorbs many bumps and makes for better causal driving. Kitcat the hood budge is needed because of the motor, a twin cam 1.8L with variable valve timing. in person the budge is very nice and give the car definition. unlike the cat's we have a one piece hood with no vents so i think it would be to simple without it. as for miata vs honds, the honds has more power (145hp/125tq vs 240hp/153tq). i did not really have a choice in this matter so ill just be happy with what i got . perhaps a turbo in the future may solve my problems, or ill just pull the drive train and drop in the s2000. o and the car weighs in at just about 1223lb, its going to get some smaller lighter wheels with tires that get traction soon as i get some pennies together.
  20. I dont really know of any other forums, so if someone can point me in the right direction it would be great! thanks
  21. yea, he was movin all right. i could not even see where the cones were leading. i wonder what the fastest times were for that day.

  23. that plate and sticker dont belong .the car was registered prior in Michigan but never driven so soon as my local notary gets off vacation i will do the papers. and the inspection... well lets just say i have a very nice mechanic who needs to replace his glasses.
  24. i forgot to take engine bay shots but ill do it at some point. as for the turned dash, its going to have to do. im trying to locate someone to make me one from carbon fiber in a slightly different shape.
  25. i dont think it looks great in pics, but that may just be my lacking photo skillz. perhaps we can meet up for a cruise before winter hits
