I vote for the 3rd one. It will provide the best protection for the bodywork from debris picked up by the tire. I prefer the aesthetics of it as well.

The Regular Summary of Classified Ads of Se7ens Found For Sale

My V8 Miata is running the 480/376 engine. It weighs 2,660 lb and has no problem putting the power down. If you floor it in a turn, yes, the back end will come around. The transmission is a Camaro case with a set of Rockland gears rated to handle 1,200 HP and 1,000 torque. It is labeled "Tranzilla". Alaskossie's V8 Miata is running the 525/376 engine. Made my car seem anemic the one time I drove his. The only differences between the three LS3 engines is the camshafts, I suspect there will be a 525 HP cam in my engine someday. -
Steve, The ND is a bit smaller inside than your NC. I know many people who drive Miatas all year long as their daily drivers, you just need good dedicated snow tires all around and don't put weight in the trunk. An ex GF who was a really crappy driver, who never went over 55 mph in her Miata rarely called me for a ride to work unless the snow was over 1'. For her, the Miata was a fashion statement. When you first drive an ND don't be put off by the way it leans in corners. It takes a good set and gets on with the business of turning. Mazda designed it to be that way and it takes awhile to get used to it. I never did warm up to the NC and have never owned one so I don't know what issues you had with yours.

That cap looks like it should just be pried out with a thin blade screwdriver.

Kevin, Just pass on the 2007 Miata and get yourself one of the 2016 ND models. The best Miata ever and its even quicker than the 2004 & 2005 Mazdaspeed factory turbo cars. I got one two weeks ago and I love it. It is the 36th Miata I've owned and the 359th car (and 16 motorcycles) over a lifetime as a gearhead. I can get you an S-plan which will get you a new Mazda at invoice. Here's my current cars, there is a WRX in the house's garage.

Daniel Snyder, owner of the NFL Redskins, has announced that the team is dropping "Washington" from the team name, and it will henceforth be simply known as "The Redskins." It was reported that he finds the word 'Washington' imparts a negative image of poor leadership, mismanagement, corruption, cheating, lying, and graft, and is not a fitting role-model for young fans of football.

There are several NASA and SCCA compliant roll bars already available. Only one doesn't require removal of the top and one of the others has to have slots cut in the leading edge of the trunk for the rear risers. Obviously for competition only. Several vendors already have brake upgrades and suspension packages are on the way. The cars do lean in the corners but they take a good set and once you get used to it they corner nicely. This one requires top removal (not a factory color, the car has been wrapped): This one doesn't require top removal This one requires notching the trunk but the top stays on the car. https://www.flyinmiata.com/nc-transformer-roll-bar.html This is #36 in a series of who knows how many more Miatas?

If srive them means taking a flyer off the track, its a good thing you aren't here helping me drive them. Sorry, its too early and I haven't had my coffee, I just couldn't resist it, the  made me do it.

Meet Stella, that red cutie on the back row. She's a 2016 Soul Red Miata Club edition with 6 M/T and an attitude. I've already added a sweeter, louder exhaust and there are other enhancements in the works in the near future. Here's a better look along side a friend's GT version.

Westfield rotary engine applications - new for 2016
scannon replied to manik's topic in General Sevens Discussion
Any info on weight, size and cost? Can two of them be paired. There should be plenty of room in the engine compartment for two or maybe three of them. -
Stronger and lighter. http://www.pistonheads.com/news/general/bicycle-tech-for-caterham/33160

The prices of the Chaprons definitely put them in the exotic class. I was at an SCCA race in the early 80s and one of them was being used as the pace car. I managed to get a ride along on the track.

My long gone '53 MG TD with RHD had a pair of offset mirrors mounted on the left side of the windshield. One faced forward and one back and with them correctly adjusted you could get a good look at oncoming traffic before passing. OTOH, it was so gutless you rarely had a chance to pass anyone. I did enjoy putting my neighbors German Shepard in the left seat and driving around town. In the '60s that caused a lot of stares and oncoming cars pulling over. -
Last real blat was August 23rd up Pikes Peak with 120 or so mostly Lotus cars attending LOG35 in Colorado Springs. We were the first on the mountain that day and were led by Clive Chapman in an Elan. He took off like a bat out of hell. I was further back but it was still fast enough to be a fun run. I don't do well at 14,000' so I didn't stay on top for the photo op. On the road going back down I had no traffic in front of me. There have been a few short local blats since then.

The '92 Sunburst Yellow car. Hard to price because of all the modifications I've made over the last 18 years. -

My Caterham has the Colorado plate ONABLAT. I have to explain what it means to everyone except Se7en owners. And yes, I know, the wheel is on the wrong side of the car. I had to move it to get the beater Miata in the shop and didn't pay attention to orientation since they were coming back off the car before it got driven.

My Caterham started out with the stainless steel stone guards on the rear fenders. After 1,600 miles the stainless steel was so pitted it wouldn't polish out. I then had the stainless steel coated with bed liner along with the inside of all four fenders. The bed liner still looks very good after 30k miles. The whole car is covered with clear bra since new. Above the coated stainless steel panels the clear bra shows much abuse from stone impact but the paint under it is still in good condition. Below the stainless steel is a small area that didn't get the clear bra. Most of the paint down there is gone.
