WOMEN A real woman is a man's best friend. She will never stand him up and never let him down. She will reassure him when he feels insecure and comfort him after a bad day. She will inspire him to do things he never thought he could do; to live without fear and forget regret. She will enable him to express his deepest emotions and give in to his most intimate desires. She will make sure he always feels as though he's the most handsome man in the room and will enable him to be the most confident, sexy, seductive and invincible... No wait........, Sorry. I'm thinking of whiskey. It's whiskey that does all that shit. Never mind.

From the German TV show GRIP. Wish I understood German. The Miata has a Flyin' Miata supercharger system on it. I heard Mini Cooper S mentioned when they were talking about the Caterham, can anyone confirm that is the engine in it? The Atom has a supercharged Civic Type R engine. Happy Blatting New Year to all of you. I'm hoping to drive my Se7en again in a few weeks. The shoulder is recovering nicely from the rotator cuff surgery. Its been seven weeks since I drove her and it drives me nuts with all the relatively warm and sunny days we are having.

Big kids fit just fine. http://i43.tinypic.com/2llm61y.jpg He drove this one several miles on city streets early one Sunday morning to a car show. Due to traffic concerns, it came home on the back of my trailer. Gives you a size perspective. http://usa7s.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=2820&d=1298937824

Thanks for the clarification. 7 1/4" on my '04 SV with LHD. The S-3 Caterhams are smaller but I don't have a measurement for them. I ordered a new pedal box cover and when it arrived it was an obvious non-fit. I returned it for the correct one.
-
SV or standard? The picture appears to be a RHD car, will a LHD measurement be the same? Exactly where do you want the measurement to be taken?
-
I'm going out and buy a lottery ticket. A great car for a very reasonable price. The only thing I would change would be to convert it to LHD. I've been down that RHD road before and didn't like it.

There is an Aztec Fan Club out there with 2,300+ members on their forum. Sales of the Aztec were 27k per year for the first three years and then quickly dropped to 25 total units in the last year produced. Reportedly GM needed 75k sales per year to reach the break even point.

This article explains the progression from the ACE to the new Morgan trike. Also has a road test. http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/feature/41/Morgan-3-Wheeler-Road-Test.html
-
The new Morgan uses an S&S engine which is based on the H-D. The transmission is from a Miata. There is a Morgan dealer in the Denver area. He brings various Morgans to our Cars and Coffee events. He was passing out brochures on the three wheeler awhile back and will bring a three wheeler to the C&C when he gets one in.

Two medical students were walking along the street when they saw an old man walking with his legs spread apart. He was stiff-legged and walking slowly. One student said to his friend: "I'm sure that poor old man has Peltry Syndrome. Those people walk just like that." The other student says: "No, I don't think so. The old man surely has Zovitzki Syndrome. He walks slowly and his legs are apart, just as we learned in class." Since they couldn't agree they decided to ask the old man. They approached him and one of the students said to him, "We're medical students and couldn't help but notice the way you walk, but we couldn't agree on the syndrome you might have. Could you tell us what it is?" The old man said, "I'll tell you, but first you tell me what you two fine medical students think." The first student said, "I think it's Peltry Syndrome." The old man said, "You thought - but you are wrong." The other student said, "I think you have Zovitzki Syndrome." The old man said, "You thought - but you are wrong." So they asked him, "Well, old timer, what do you have?" The old man said, "I thought it was gas - but I was wrong, too!"

Please take care of yourself over the holidays. A recent joint study conducted by the Department of Health and the Department of Motor Vehicles indicates that 23% of traffic accidents are alcohol related. This means that the remaining 77% are caused by the assholes who drink bottled water, Starbucks, soda, juice, energy drinks and shit like that. Therefore, beware of those who do not drink alcohol. They cause three times as many accidents. This message is sent to you by someone who is a drinker and worries about your safety. And, watch out for those designated drivers! I would like to share an experience with you about drinking and driving. As you well know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the authorities on our way home from the odd social session over the years. Well, I have done something about it: A couple of nights ago I was out for a few drinks with some pals and had a few too many whiskeys as well as beers and some rather nice claret; but knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before - I took a bus home. I arrived back safely and without incident which was a real surprise, since I had never driven a city bus before and am not sure where I got this one. I'm passing this on because it worked for me today. A Dr. on TV said to have inner peace we should always finish things we start & we all could use more calm in our lives. I looked around my house to find things I'd started & hadn't finished, so I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Chardonnay, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of wum, tha mainder of Valiuminun scriptins, an a box a chocletz. Yu haf no idr how fablus I feel rite now. Sned this to all who need inner piss. An telum u luvum

Looks like a combination of Se7en and Ariel Atom built on a Miata drive train. http://exomotive.com/exocet/ http://exomotive.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/MEV_Exocet_3-320x180.jpg There is also the Sonic 7 based on Ford Focus parts. I think this one has been on the forum before. http://exomotive.com/sonic-7/ http://exomotive.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/MEV_Sonic7_3-320x180.jpg

I think you have back space mixed up with offset. Offset is the distance between the center line of the rim (width wise) and the mating surface. Negative offset being towards the face of the wheel and positive offset being towards the back side. My Caterham has an offset of 20mm. If it had a backspace of 20mm the wheels would be really deep dish and hanging out mostly beyond the wings.
