  1. I was not in their slipstream because they were weaving in and out of traffic. I kept my distance to make sure I didn't become a statistic. Spaz: :ack: Slngsht: :Chevy_anim:
  2. Might have been video of a Chevy LT1 with *gasp* Opti-Spark! :willy_nilly:
  3. I drove to the Lakefront in New Orleans a few weekends ago for a large car meet put on by the local ricers. I filled the Megabusa up (11 gallons) and the caravan I drove down with cruised at 85-90 mph from Baton Rouge to New Orleans. We drove roughly the same speeds coming back home. When I topped the tank off later that evening I calculated out to be 22.17 mpg. This next tank I will be trying my best to drive like a paw paw. I think I can get 30+ out of it. I was expecting much less from a car with the aerodynamics of a brick.

    My NSX

Oyagi, Great action shots! Quick question, is USA one of the only countries that the NSX is badged as an Acura instead of a Honda?
  5. That's a helluva story there!
  6. Now THAT was a tight course! Your car sounds really good. I love your commentary (WHOA!). hehe
  7. Yep, they're backwards. It also keeps dirt out of the piston if you flip the shocks around. Thanks for the quick reply on the Hoosier specs.
  8. Troy, Thanks for the additional pictures. Are your front shocks on backwards? There has been a few discussions on flipping the shock body around closer to the center of mass for the Seven and leaving only the shock piston near the wheel. It helps quicken the rate of change for the wheel due to the inertia change. Nitron (shocks on my Seven) helps users out by putting the stickers on and if a builder puts the shocks on incorrectly the logo is upside down. Nice looking Seven you have there. Do you have the specs on the Hoosiers? How much does she weigh?
  9. Looks like a Miata club got together to build a real racecar. Epic fail ensued.
  10. You can't be serious and post only one picture of that beast, can you? ON WITH THE PICTURES MAN!
  11. Fairly good photochop there.

  14. Tom, Is this car cover for indoor or outdoor protection?
  15. Nice course layout. Slalom looked a little funky on the spacing before the finish though. How many runs do you get? We have so little turnout they give us 5-6 runs per event. And they allow a driver to register twice for more seat time. What class do you run? I run B-Mod.

    Gorgeous car!
  17. ^ OMG that's hilarious!
  18. I'm filling up the Megabusa at a gas station and a car load of black people pull up. The driver looked like Bob Marley and everybody else was old with short salt & pepper afros. Guy must have been a taxi driver for the older generation. Anyhow, they pull up and this is the conversation: Bob Marley: "What kind of car is that?" Me: "A British kit car." Bob Marley: "A what?" Me: "A car that came in a box and it took me 3 months to put it together." Old Man from the Back Seat: "Looks like you aren't done yet either."
  19. I love my G-Force 6 pt harnesses, but the box says they aren't street legal. I guess all states require an auto tensioning belt or something. Don't forget arm restraints if you have a full cage so your arms don't get broken when you roll over.
  20. ^ lmao!
  21. God old people are so cool.
  22. King of acronyms is the nuclear industry. I'm to the point now that every time I learn a new acronym I forget somebody's birthday.
  23. Keep both of 'em!
  24. Videos were amazing. Spinning in 4th gear is cool.
  25. Dammit, I had an Engineering meeting that lasted too long last night. Now I'm running late for work. Must... find time... to watch videos!!!
