God I love working at a nuke plant. I wish it was more efficient, however. We generate 3000 MWt but after losses it's 1000 MW. I guess the good lord don't want us to have all the fun. And it only gets worse with technology. I was autocrossing at the State Police proving grounds a year ago while the deputies were taking a taser class in a T-building. One of the deputies had a heart attack when they zapped him. I don't know if he made it or not.

Finally saw it last night in 3D. I rate a movie on how many times I yawn while I watch it. The less yawns, the better the movie. Definitely a zero yawner, although I felt one coming on in the beginning hour or so! Sigourney Weaver is aging quite gracefully, isn't she?

Water froze in the house over night. I broke out the Benzomatic torch on the cooper line outside. Once water flowed on the outside I zip tied a bunch of towels to the pipe and I threw the 30 year old brittle pipe insulation away. Took 5 hours for the temperature in the attic to get above freezing so that the water flowed again. A nice, hot shower was great even if it happened at 1pm. The Megabusa is still in the garage with the car cover on it. The garage doesn't have heat, but it's insulated. I figure it's definitely above freezing in there.
