  1. Nice video. Needs more boost. What's the red button on the steering wheel do? I thought it might be a scramble boost, but the boost gauge did not go any higher after he pressed it than what it was already on.
  2. I just had to find out where Gary lived after seeing an AIRPLANE in his garage. I've heard of subdivisions that border airfields. Heck, it was even on an episode of CSI Miami back in the day. It's probably the one with the 2 planes pointing North.
  3. I emailed Holeshot to see if they can update their car gallery. None of the pictures enlarge for me and they are not clickable. I'm very interested in the orange Megabusa in that gallery! I would like the turbo kit I purchase next spring to sit inside the bodywork for my Megabusa.
  4. Beautiful car! Great pictures.
  5. To my knowledge the only 2-post lifts made in the USA are BendPak and Rotary. There might be a newcomer since I bought my lift 2 years ago, however.
  6. That is one helluva car you have there! One question: Why doesn't your wife wear a helmet when she's a passenger while you slalom? :leaving:
  7. 31 year old Mechanical Engineer here. I'm currently a consulting engineer with a firm that has jumped on upgrading as many refineries as possible in the current boom. I've been on the same project for 3 years upgrading Marathon's Garyville, LA refinery. Did I mention the project budget is $3.2 billion? I'm a graduate of LSU. My senior project was a Formula SAE (Mini Indy) car. Married, no kids. I've had a broad range of vehicles. Del Sol, Eclipse FWD, Eclipse AWD (drag / autox), Subaru WRX, '04 Mustang Cobra (free way killer), '06 EVO IX RS (autox class leader), and soon to be Westfield Megabusa. Since I have a 2-post lift in my garage I enjoy working on my own vehicles as well as helping others out. I'm really dying at the moment because I got rid of the EVO in March and I haven't had another race car since. Once the Megabusa kit arrives in November I hope to complete it before Thanksgiving. After that I hope to become more active in local clubs, races, and especially USA7s.org!
  8. Bad news, my garage has A/C & heat. Between the 2-car and the 1-car w/lift it's 1500sf. The most expensive part was $2200 for the Amarr garage doors. 7evin: The Megabusa kit won't arrive until the 1st week of November. Can I watch you race? Where at, the EVO Center?
  9. Jerry, that garage is amazing! I love the floor treatment. My epoxy floor leaves A LOT to be desired. My next garage will have a 4-post for quick oil changes and race car storage. The 2-post is mainly for suspension & chassis work where the wheels need to be removed.
  10. I installed a 2-post Bendpak lift (MX-10ACX) in my garage. I couldn't afford the Rotary. Here's a shot: http://henry-bell.com/images/Garage/images/Garage03.jpg Any pictures of your work space?
  11. For the record the wheels I ordered were 13x7", ET 25, Black. 2 months turnaround. I highly recommend Tom @ Manikllc.com for the transaction!
  12. Tom @ Manikllc.com gave me a price today for the 13" Team Dynamics wheels. I'm ordering them when I order my car tomorrow!
  13. Loved it! Thanks for sharing.
  14. In trying to decide on a final color for my Megabusa, I created a color rotator. I'm leaning towards white first, then electric blue. Your thoughts? http://henry-bell.com/images/megabusacolorchange/megabusarotator.htm And no, that car is not a Megabusa, but it does make for a great image to photoshop with!
  15. Man that thing sounds good. Might sound better with forced induction.
  16. Okay, I received an email from Mac1 this morning. Final verdict is I will run these wheels, but 10mm spacers will be needed as well. I will get the spacers here: Project Kics spacers.
  17. http://www.mac1motorsports.co.uk/index.php/Wheels/View-all-products.html I get lost in offset talk, so someone let me know if either offset available will work for a Megabusa (et15, et35). I really don't want to run spacers. Is it okay to run both 205's and 185's on 13x4" rims?
  18. I'm so damn confused on these wheels. Ben @ RMSC states the 13x8" rear offset is 39mm. Blatchat states et24. If I were to purchase the 13x6 fronts, and 13x8 rears would I need spacers or not?
  19. Wonderfully done. It was a joy to watch the artist work.
  20. I apologize if I skipped over the part where you stated the place you bought these wheels? I order my Megabusa in a few days and I need to order these wheels at the same time! I emailed US Caterhams, but no response.
  21. I'm ordering a Megabusa kit from you next week.
  22. Paint it black, make it a Megabusa, and I'll buy it for $25k. I have the cash in hand.
  23. Wow! I love that car. Although I'm not going the larger displacement route I will be paddle shifting and possibly turbocharging shortly after that. Is the verdict out on paddle shifting yet? Is the Megabusa too heavy for clutchless shifting? Will it shorten the lifespan of the gearbox? I'm leaning towards the Pro-Shift kit.
  24. Definitely the Busa. I order mine in less than 2 weeks! It should be built by Thanksgiving.
  25. I don't follow your post, BusaLoco. From the 2 pictures below it looks like a straight damn shot from the face of the rear differential flange to the output flange of the engine. http://www.megabusa.co.uk/photos/gallery/2007%2007%2030/CIMG3201.JPG Tunnel looks pretty straight. http://www.megabusa.co.uk/photos/gallery/2007%2008%2001/CIMG3256.JPG Westfield reverse box looks to be vertically in-line. Once I get my kit it will be much easier to visualize what you are trying to tell me.
