    Update: I ordered another custom-fit harness from Speartech. The Easy Performance harness is going back for a re-work. Once repairs are made and they certify that it is good to go, I will sell it along with the E67 ECU. Barring anything crazy, the car should be back on the road in a couple of weeks.

    I drove up and down Pikes Peak in my old Toyota Corolla. I also watched a few videos of xcarguy and a few other forum members on YouTube.

    My Tilletts are also hard mounted; just not enough room for sliders.

    Hi Shane, PM mailbox is fixed - I forgot to renew my USA7s subscription - good now. I pulled the harness off this weekend and am sending it back to Easy Performance for troubleshooting. I think they screwed up the wiring to the ECU as the engine keeps throwing codes. The band aid fixes the technician recommended were not helpful. I have a plan B in the works in case their troubleshooting doesn't do the trick. Mike

    Here's my dash arrangement. The tach and speedo are fully visible through the steering wheel. Everything else is within reach. I put a Miata dash cubby in the Storker just like my old Birkin; it is great for a wallet or small pistol. Billet switches are from Car Builder Solutions from the UK; covered 12V outlet is from a Ford Focus, push button switches are from APEM, and guages are Speedhut. http://i58.tinypic.com/e02zae.jpg

    So that's what they're called. Once in a while they are particularly bothersome. Never noticed them on the track though. Hope you can continue racing.

    I purchased my 2006 Lotus Elise brand spanking new when I was 42 and became hooked on 7s after riding in a Westfield during a track event in 2009. Shortly after, I bought my old Birkin from Marine7. Then a couple of years later I decided to build my Storker. At this point, I foresee always having a 7 in my garage. I am currently looking for a used, low-mileage supercharged Evora for my wife.

    Glad you got it started again. Relocating the coil ought to do the trick. A little water down the intake doesn't hurt.
