    I cannot comment on drivetrain .. but I see that your windshield wiper is in the same place that mine was. (cable and drive tube takes a 90 deg turn.) I built an aluminum shelf on which to mount the wiper motor under the passenger side of the cowl and made that cable drive tube as straight as possible. Now my wipers have alot of pep! Rob

    Got caught in some brief rain on the way back from the British Car Show in Rome, GA two weeks ago .. my nephew and I were on the way to the Etowah Indian Mounds and got a little wet. My wipers did the job well! Sooo ... Andrew .. you got that new toyota engine installed with MegaSquirt? ! Rob

    I have a set of original Rotus side curtains .. they come with liftoff hinges .. in good used condition .. plastic is clear without any yellowing .. I've only used them twice ... PM me if you are intersted. Rob

    For the first time .. I used my Walker St. Clair cockpit car cover yesterday .. to keep the passenger cockpit compartment dry from possible rain. Fits the seven from the windshield and mirrors back. It will work for a downpour .. but not from side winds and rain unless you have side curtains mounted.     I actually have two Rotus tops .. one worn original and another new in box .. but I have never used either .. Actually my nephew and I did get caught in a brief sprinkle and brief rain yesterday .. used the windshield wipers for the first time .. but we got out of it really quickly. When we got to our destination, we pulled out the passenger compartment cover (Walker St. Clair) which kept everything dry while we hiked around the Etowah Indian Mounds north of Atlanta. Rob

    Ok .. gotta try that restaurant .. This past Saturday, they closed Peachtree Street for a parade of classic cars that parked in front of the museum. It was great watching all these vintage cars drive down the street and park. The route was mobbed! Of course I drove the Rotus down the street about 15 minutes before the parade and many people waved ..
