front suspension is Rotus with rocker arms and inline shock setup .. (Where are those shocks hiding?) Nose and hood look different from Roti I have seen .. Toyota 2TC engine is mid-late 70s Corolla .. straight four .. which was replaced with the 3TC engine in 79. My Rotus has the rare 2TG which is DOC. At the Varsity gathering two months ago .. the old school Toyota 2TC guys were taking pics of my 2TG Thanks for posting! I wish they would have posted the serial number of that car! I may be able to ID it in the Rotus owners registry of 1991. Rob

yeah! big time .. these were bolts I had never touched!

The other day I was driving my Rotus home from the auto shop .. and I heard a rattle .. rev'd the engine and it went away .. Next morning I take off the hood .. nothing is amiss .. get the car running .. hear a brief rattle that resolves with revving .. no problem all day .. Finally at the end of the day .. I start the car .. big rattle sound .. so I look again .. and the alternator is wobbling all over the place .. Seems that two bolts that hold the lower alternator bracket in place were out (one missing and one still in the bracket) .. and the only thing holding the alternator in place was the upper adjustable bracket .. I shudder at the thought of if my alternator fell out and me running over it .. My friend and I scavenged for some longer bolts .. and got that bracket bolted more securely .. Whew! You never know what can happen with an older engine car .. Rob

I've been out all weekend .. to two shows on Saturday and out again just driving on Sunday .. now the SE is wet again! We got another 3" of rain today! Rob

After LOG in Birmingham .. and seeing all the Cats with spring-loaded, stainless-steel, Terry Body latches in the front .. I bought a set off eBay for a reasonable price and installed in the front of the hood on my car. I still have the traditional tension latches in the back .. Of course I would have preferred the latches which can be secured with a cotter pin .. UPDATE: I see the same "Terry Body Latches" on that Pegasus page .. Rob

This car was up on eBay recently .. and didn't get the reserve amount .. Decatur, Ga is immediately east of downtown Atlanta. I don't know the seller .. but I might give him a call to take a look/see ..
