Sorry Martin but I am baffled, If you hit a car from behind then you are at fault,I am not a lawyer , but I cannot think of many situations where you could not be found at fault. I mean, if this lady stopped, for any reason rather than run the light then the deterrent is working right?you even say that you agent said that minor bumps are up , does that mean deaths and serious injuries are down? Then you say... ..you hit a car that had a history of slamming on brakes at lights soon to turn red and that she was phobic about cams and getting even more tickets; then that after you hit her car she admitted to witnesses that she has done this many times before and made statements to confirm this; then ,that you called the police, ( not her!) to make sure you could not be held at fault. After all of this, and some days later, your insurance agent discussed with you her driving history and insurance claims records with you. Really? Hmm, sorry, I do not buy this story, nor do I see how you can hit a car with a Ford F350 and it is like a butterfly kiss and just a tap, as you say maybe you "did get lucky and it's just a scratch". Does any one happen to know if cams at lights have cut down on serious injury with the trade off of minor accidents,or is it just yet another large source of revenue location like most cams on speeding ticket $ spots. Lights and intersections of any kind being run scare me more than anything else on the road . PS, Martin, in earlier posts: did you not talk about a flux capacitor magnet that you carry in your car that alerts the lights to when you are there and makes them change them quicker ?

The car could be bought in many levels of build/completion, from basic to ready to drive then and still can from the UK, I think you are applying US rules, look at this cars history, it is very plausible.

My wife is Iranian, and yes she tells me she had many pets over the years, and in fact they tried not to kill and eat them, even when really hungry. We now have 2 Labs, a goat, 2 Shetlands and a tank of fish...maybe I should start watching her just in case she reverts to the "vampire pet mode " you know of. I was a Caterham snob, I thought that was the "pure" way to go, I have owned 2. I now see that many of the options out there are in so many ways a better deal and often a better performer; I know this is a touchy area to many,but I have to speak my piece , as I think the biggest downside to Caterham is the huge initial cost (of course this is why resale asking prices are so high too). I guess it "horses for courses" but even a pre owned Locost that can be bought cheap can give every bit as much fun as a $80K Caterham, and with the money you have save, travel for free.

I have had a lot of luck simply by adding the coolant temp lowering additives like "Water Weter " and the like, they really do work.

Yes, same car.( He even used Dick's old pics..lol) It's had 4 to 5 owners. Lots of track time too. I think its kinda strong money . Odd car too,when you take into account that the odometer appears to run backwards the older it gets!
