With every lap I watched, I wondered when some a child chasing a soccer ball or resident would step out their front door and into the street while talking on their cell phone. That's worse than looking out for deer and ground hogs at Summit Point.

Bob, Thanks for the photo. I finally got the new clutch and transmission in as of Thursday. Broke the clutch in with a round trip to Baltimore in stop and go traffic on Friday and just came to C&C at the last minute. Sorry I didn't see you this morning.

The weekend I got my car I was home alone with nothing to do but drive my new toy. 103 degrees and 1500 miles later I had lost about 10 lbs and had one heck of a sunburn ans a smile from ear to ear. Have a blast. Drink plenty of water and keep an extera gallon or two for the seven. just in case.

My motor is back in the car with a new bearing and badly worn impute shaft. New shaft on order. Heck, the bearing only has to work for two days. See you all Friday. :cheers:

speaking of problems..... I have pulled the motor and T-9 and removed the pressure plate and clutch. It seems the pilot bearing disintegrated. Does anyone have a good way to remove "seemingly frozen" flywheel bolts without an impact wrench? My backup T-9 is due here Friday - all fresh and ready to install in time for NJMP.

Pulling the or again in anticipation of my fresh backup T9 arriving this week. Anyone have experience with SPC clutches and pressure plates with a Zetec ZX3 motor?
