  1. Great photos. Thanks for sharing.
  2. I did not find my spec sheet. Will call QuickSilver tomorrow and see if they still have them and report back.
  3. Folis has the Massive head and other goodies and is very happy with it. My motor is similar to others built by Jon Nelson. I think I have the specs at home. I will try to find them and post.
  4. If I exit in 4th, I quickly shift to 5th. Sometimes I exit in 5th.
  5. Mike - That's 13% taller than mine 175 Hp x 1.13 = 198 Hp. Add in the cycle fender aero advantage and I guess that explains it.
  6. Mike, Agreed. What size tires do you use on track. Mine are 20"
  7. My HP is at crank. Folis Jones says his has about 240. Quicksliver saif they could get 245 out of mine but it would need race gas.
  8. Bob, I had to park so far in the back that you were not to be found by the time I walked back to your car and the coffee. What time do you get there?
  9. Guys, You're not supposed to hit the cones with anything. Not even fender guards. ;-)
  10. 1st one I have ever seen. Cool looking.
  11. Now that's a Tiny House. Could you hoist it up into their favorite tree?
  12. 1456 with me with a helmet, two seats, 1/2 tank of gas under a full cage.
  13. If you put a fill plug and/or vent in the front left end of the lid, you will be able to insert a dipstick straight down. The fill point is 5 inches from the top. 1.5 Qts to fill to that level. Mine has a fill plug on the front left and a vent on the front right.
  14. And they didn't hit the front wing stays once! Well done. Thanks for posting.
  15. Dave send me a PM with your email and address, phone etc and I will add you the the DC 7s owners list and send you a copy.
  16. T-9 info now posted in http://www.topdocsracing.com
  17. Dave, Welcome to our group. Scott Lentz is in Edgewater, Norm Beaver is in Laurel, I am in Bethesda. And, yes I do like toe out.
  18. Ford has changed the dimensions on the slave cylinder for the 2000 Contour. However, they did not change the part number. I found out the hard way. I installed a new one last week. Motor started fine but when I but it into 1st it did not move. I pulled the motor a second time and took the motor and trans to George Alderman (long time Caterham dealer) and the review began and George took measurements. The new part measures .25 inches wider when compressed than to the slave cylinder we have been using in our Zetec for 12 year and have replaced it 4 or 5 times. The travel of the older slave cylinder was .24 inches. The new part measures .25 inched wider when compressed than to the slave cylinder we have been using in our Zetec. The travel of the older slave cylinder requires .24 inches to depress the pressure plate. With the new slave cylinder it simply never releases the pressure plate. Lucky for me, George had a spare of the older design measurements and my car drives just fine now. I think this new measurement is a stronger slave cylinder that was used in the 2.5 ltr v6s. If you need a slave cylinder, check out Summit Racing. They have both a 2ltr and a 2.5 ltr slave cylinder for under $60. The photo for the 2.0 looks like mine and the 2.5 looks like what Ford sent to me.
  19. Phone: 011-44-1322-625801 or 011-44-1239-312340 one is main line and one is direct to parts. Parts is now in a different building and goes direct to Tony Mills in pats. His email is: tony.mills@caterham.co.uk.
  20. Bob, Thanks for the excellent photo.
  21. Shane, glad to see your recovery has progressed so far. I hope to see you and your creation in July '16. Oh, and I will keep the Tomato Red interior. Best,
  22. A keeper for sure. Love it. I even like thee all black interior better than my red interior.
  23. Bob, Welcome to the other side. I think Croc & Tom might be able to arrange a Shine Off at the next 7s at NJMP. You and your wife will love it. Hope to see that beautiful car in person soon.
