Note: Do not forget to remove the reverse switch from the passenger side of the T-9 prior to removing the trans or replacing the trans. It is very easy to break off the center button. If seats forward doesn't work try removing only the passenger seat. This should give you plenty of clearance and pull the hand brake up as high as you can get it.

Upon inspection at Quicksilver it seems the reason for my car's sluggish performance was simply clogged fuel injectors. Replaced all four and the power is good gain. :-)
