  1. The most popular commentary on here , week in week out. Do not change a thing.
  2. Well Mate, looks like fair dinkum cobbers all round old blue
  3. That is an achingly beautiful 7 you have there.
  4. Mike, Thanks for that info, all looks great on your car, is that an SV? Yes, well almost, I keep dilly dallying on the damned thing, have to have it late at night after a few bevies then the next morning not so sure ( actually was a similar situation with my ex) The older I get the more hesitant I become, you should see me buying clothes. Do you by chance have a contact for the mesh lady? Thanks a lot.
  5. I was wondering if any one has tried using a mesh wind blocker on a 7, seems like that using mesh to fill in the rectangle between the roll bar might work as n easy way to cut down air turbulence. On another note does any one know of side mirrors that will fit on a Caterham that will not foul the little perspex aero screens or the side doors? Thanks
  6. Rick, Is this the S3 or SV?
  7. Kevin you should listen to rnr, you are not going to find a Duratech engined Cateham for mid twenties, more like double that.
  8. I liked the show a lot more in past years than now.they recycle the same sketches and stories that the mayhem rings hollow and looks planned after a while. Maybe this whole "fracas" thing is just a stunt.
  9. Get well soon mate cant wait to hear the story
  10. The $5 broom seems to work great
  11. And for those readers under the age of 50, he is referring to a viscous black sugar by-product, (black treacle in the UK), that looks like crude oil and was popular in cooking till about 50 years ago and definitely not the rear ends of burrowing rodents.
  12. Croc Well spotted with the bonnet bulge on the X1, from what I recall the only engine and drive line that would fit was the old A series from 60's Sprites /Midgets that were typically putting out @ 60 hp, this must be putting out at least twice that HP; I wonder if they upgraded the axle and brakes( to all round discs) too? I always thought they were stunning looking; has anyone here ever driven one, real or kit? I s Westfield the only company making these now? One thought I had was that even though it states registered for road use in CA, that it might be hindered by having no wipers when re registering in another state, is that ever a problem?
  13. why would anyone want to do that? Seems as pointless as racing trucks. What was that Brit joke from the 60's about Yank Tanks , something like they could put a V8 in a bed frame and it would get a great 0-60 time but would not stop or turn.
  14. http://jalopnik.com/owning-a-ferrari-for-a-year-was-a-disappointment-1668355120 Clicking on that's story's words in blue highlite will take you to each other part of the story and history with video clips from buying the car to selling the car. He has been posting amusing youtube clips of his experiences for some time.
  15. you don't have this...... https://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/listen-to-the-sound-of-a-28-5-liter-land-speed-record-car-fire-up-for-the-first-time-in-100-years-194558342.html
  16. I hate to ask this, but is there a reason you do not just rent a trailer?
  17. If you are insured you should get the car back right or equal compensation, sounds to me like you are dealing with a clown.
  18. Oh Sweet Jesus...... Is this $102,000.00 ?
  19. Wow, you waited a year for the car? most of my relationships didn't last that long. I assume you have been in contact with Caterham already over the screw up..
  20. Sorry not seeing " gorgeous".
  21. More Cow Bell ! I mean wing.
  22. Jerry, I think when it comes to an individual selling a car you are correct. It is a different kettle of fish when talking about a manufacturer and it's sales or distribution methods. I would hope that feedback, opinion and personal experience, good , bad or indifferent is a lot of what a forum such as this is all about.
