SENC
I'd been trying to come up with a use for the connecting rods and pistons that came out of my Seven at engine rebuild, and needed a paper towel holder in the bathroom at the shop... Have you made alternate use of any bits off your Sevens? Edited August 6, 2022 by SENC
NSXguy
i hoard my old stuff in boxes, then ever few years i'll purge. Partly because often, i will change for preventative maintenance (while you're in there) not really because they failed, so they could be of use to me or someone else in the future who might be in a bind. If a part is failed, i'll typically bin it.
Croc
I'm the world's worst garage pack rat. I upped my garage size to store more parts - its larger than my home. Nothing from my various current and past Caterhams has ever left the building. Problem is finding where I have hidden things. @NSXguy Des - you are holding out on me. You have a Delta Evo?
Vovchandr
I have a pretty small 1 car garage that fits the Caterham plus the Grom and sometimes another fullsize bike + tool box + other stuff and now kid stuff like the strollers. So I purge quite a bit. Problem is that I purge to my pole barn garage + property and just store stuff there along with the other cars.... With that said, in there I have a "wall of shame" for various mechanical failures that likely could have been avoided or just interesting. My caterham clutch failure is on there, along with failed clutch forks from the Subaru and my 6 tooth remaining rear sprocket that was left on the bike for far too long. Taber10
The pictured parts were "taken out of service" nine years ago yesterday and found a place in my garage. 1

Was that from a close encounter on the "Grisly Bear Blat"?
