Saudio
Can anyone recommend a shop in my area that has experience working on Caterhams? I realize that basic maintenance and small repairs can be done by any competent mechanic, but I would like to know of a shop I could rely on if anything more serious or complicated comes up. Thanks! JohnCh
Chip Bond at GT Classics in Barboursville has been working on Caterhams for years and has a great reputation, particularly when dealing with the hard stuff. I'm not certain he is still active or if has retired, but his webpage with phone number is still up: http://www.gt-classics.com/ -John

The business might still be around under new command however, I can't be certain of that. Edited March 6, 2023 by Vovchandr

Bartman
Gus at Eurosport motors is also a good guy. Works out of his shop west of Frederick MD. Not sure he has a web site but he is a race car prep pro and rebuilder of mostly Porsches & track Formula cars. He has built a number of 7's including mine. If you want his number PM me and I'll send it (with his permission of course). Best, Bart.

nortoncommando
Just joined the asylum. Officially. Car delivered this afternoon. Saudio: we should get together at the Charlottesville Cars and Coffee. Or the Elkton Brewery. And if you find a reliable mechanic nearby, give me a hint.

But I'm in a raging battle with Caterham to deliver parts that are ordered to get my car in California sorted out for delivery. Parts were ordered Feb 22 and promised "in a couple days". Several snafus later, I'm still waiting. Looks like there are some good prospects for mechanics in this thread, I'm exploring all of them.

nortoncommando
It's the 95 seven listed by JonnyDut recently in Cincinnati. It's on the for sale list. Great little car. The drive to Cincinnati to look at it was a challenge (weather). Looking forward to meeting you and your new addition. Nathan
