Yes I lucked out, big time. It was not something I want to do again. It was wet, I still had some steering angle while I pushed out onto the curb, and I gave it too much throttle and it just went out on me. All laps after that incident I big toe’d it through that complex of turns. Scary stuff…

I draped the half hood over the cabin for the final stretch. In hind site I should have put on the half hood before loading the slicks to the boot cover. I think It would have worked better that way. 
 

I was slightly jealous of the trailer queens in the group.  But I am not deterred.
