Does anyone know of a good source to get a compact rearview mirror for a Se7en? Carbon fiber housing would be preferred to match my existing scheme, and someplace on this continent would be best, or reasonably priced quick shipping across the pond.

Thanks,

I have a pair of the SPA Saloon sized mirrors (flat lens) that are surplus to requirements. These are not the really small Formula mirrors (I have those on my car), so they are a little larger, but some people prefer the extra visibility.

They are not carbon, but are black plastic. PM me if interested.

Thanks xflow, but to clarify, I am looking for a center dash-mounted rearview, not the side mirrors, I have those already.

It needs to fit between my windscreens, so either a standard shaped one but shorter, or a square, oval, round, whatever.

http://www.carbon-bits.com has a small one in CF for £65 (currently about $130) + shipping.

It looks like this installed:

If banjo29 doesn't want it, I'll take it.

It looks like it will bolt up to the strap over the scuttle for my new Brooklands screens.

Thanks everyone, but I decided the best solution was to just buy another set of the F1 carbon side mirrors I already have, either side can be used as a center, and then I will have a spare in case one get's broken.

At $69.95, it's definitely the best deal out there, if anyone is looking: http://www.360tuners.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=236

Real carbon fiber housing and good quality machined aluminum components. The fit & finish where the housing meets the lens could be a little better, but it's still acceptable (by my fairly high standards) and the price is right.

Thanks again,

Just a diamond-shaped base with two screws:

The ones I got are just flat glass, but apparently they are no longer available from 360 Tuners. If I had the option, I would probably go convex on both since they are so small.

I ended up getting this one for a center (could also use as L & R): http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/product/357/Club_Series_Race_Mirrors

A little nicer quality but more than twice the price...

Thanks,

I have a set of these that use Multivex lenses (better than convex) plus I use a Spa style dash mounted convex mirror with the stalk modified for lower profile.
