Unbelievable!! The talent in some of the drivers out there continues to amaze me! I think my daughter (drives a WRX and is a big fan of his) has a piece of one of his cars that got thrown/broken off during a rally up in Maine a couple years back.

Looks like that guy is a Rally driver or has alot of Rally exp. In my opinion Rally drivers are the best drivers on the planet. That is an awsome video.

Andrew subbies are fun and can be made fast for sure. Just be prepared to drop alot of $$$$ to get them really fast. Oh and triple or quadruple your tire budget.

Yes, Ken Block is a rally driver among other things, and I agree, I think rally drivers are a special breed. You have to be extremely talented or maybe just crazy to drive down a gravel, tree lined road at 90+ mph :D

I'm curious why you say it will cost a lot of $$$$ to get them 'really fast.' Not questioning your opinion, but rather looking for insight. I've been lusting after a subaru for a long time and having looked at their mod costs, they don't seem all that unreasonable to me...

It costs a lot of money to make anything "really fast"

Subaru's are quite fast out of the box, and it doesn't take a lot of money to make them a very fast street car.

If you want to make it a very fast race/rally car, it can add up

I think what westTex is referring to is that Fast is relative. For us its usually relative to a 7.

If you want to make a Subibie fast compared to mustang that is relatively affordable.

If you want to make a subbie fast compared to a 7,,,, well it might get rather expensive.

For me for that type of car it is a toss up between the subbie and the EVO.

Side note: The dude is an amazing driver bar none..... But the guy on the Segway has got a screw lose.

Cheers

I will not try to add to the list of superlatives justly rained down on the drivers talent, but I must add a comment about the expense of the Subarus in question.

My thinking is not on the cost of the car but on the number of cars trashed in the persuit of such excellence. While a Subaru can run from $30,000 to $300,0000 how many ended up in the crusher as a result of the learning curve that gave us that amazing video?

Just food for thought.

Cheers-

Dermot.
