yellowss7
Jon, how about adding a cow/cone catcher? With that SumoVersion of your's you'll never notice the extra weight. Tom
bsimon
James, I was running the same 90mm trumpets when I first converted to TBs. The inlet of the trumpets was uncomfortably close to the top of the ITG filter. I bought a drop centre back plate from Jenvey to gain some added clearance. It makes the bonnet hole a bit more uniform as well. Here's a piccy: http://www.usa7s.net/ASPNETFORUM/upload/2137222139_IMG_1725.jpg The drop is about 2" give or take. Here's what sticks though the bonnet: http://www.usa7s.net/ASPNETFORUM/upload/495457756_IMG_1722.jpg
Boxologist
Jon, how about adding a cow/cone catcher? With that SumoVersion of your's you'll never notice the extra weight. Tom i'd cinsider it but i'm not ready to test the aero limits of DM rules. i figure an 8" wide razor blade would be best to slice the cones so that the base remains in the box and I can creat a faster line! southwind25
Well #1 on our list here is also pulling the lump out and finding the seal leak. replacing the slipping clutch with perhaps something better while i am at it. Mary has me started on X-mas projects however..and that stopped the process. So far i have the bowling pin end table about 90% finished for my father-in-law. and now onto the 5' lighthouse. for my brother-in-laws front yard. hey..i am schmoozing for that aluminum flywheel, what can i say? BusaNostra
Well, enough of the seven for now. If I need to prolong my marriage and drive a 7 on summer, I need to upgrade the bathroom. Wifey is mad now!! So, the mechanical upgrade is the toilet flush mechanism that was leaking fo so long!!
11Budlite
Bob S, I heard back from Dave at Emerald on the turnaround for the K3 upgrade. Here's his reply: "About one week to get it back in the post to you, that serial number is fine for upgrade. You will get new software and a manual update with the conversion and the ECU will contain your original map. If you want a map switch just say so and we will set up the software to suit. I think a switch is about £20 pre-wired to go into the aux port next to comms. Dave Walker" I think I'll get the switch while I'm at it. Bruce :7drive: PS: Just found a weld on my alternator bracket is cracked, so add that to my repair list. Hopefully a guy at work can fix it tomorrow. 11Budlite
"did you ever check your transmission fill to see if it is over filled?" Gary - I checked to make sure it was filled to the bottom of the fill hole, drained the transmission, measured the fluid and came up with a little over 53 oz. That should be right at the 3.34 pints that's quoted in the manual. We'll see what I find when I pull the eng/trans in the next week or so.
