Davemk1
I emailed about that car and asked if my 6'4" body would fit in it and the owner told me it would be really tight and that I'd stick up a lot. I have this mental picture of my dad sitting in a kids pedal car. Too bad as I really lust after the Elevens. dave
scannon
That car incites sheer car lust in me. Since it needs paint, BRG and yellow would make it an outstanding car. It's only missing the hump behind the driver's head to make it irresistible. Gotta keep a tight grip on my wallet or I'm going to do something foolish... Croc
Oh that is soooo tempting The curves on that body just make want to caress it. Gorgeous design - even after all these years - it has aged beautifully.
JohnCh
Did you see the other XI on that site listed as due in soon? I’m in lust. http://www.pd-go.com/images-pdgo/image-59106.jpg -John Edited June 8, 2009 by JohnCh
DeanG
There was a guy at LOG who is selling his Westfield 11. I don't remember his name but he is a long time Lotus guy with a Europa, 05 Elise, S1 Elise with a Honda engine and maybe some others. I can try to find his name if anyone is seriously interested. Croc
I think the black XI is the same as the one on the Manik Tech site under preowned link - more photos to lust over... http://www.manikllc.com/ click preowned once at site off to buy a powerball ticket.... 11Budlite
That second car is an absolute beauty and would be a great addition to my garage if I had more room, cash, time, etc. The first car (the red one) I would suggest you go see in person (or have an independent party do an inspection) before you lay down your hard-earned cash. I don't know any details on this car, but I did buy my Birkin sight unseen from Hayes and if I could do it again I would have checked it out in person first. Bear in mind that my car had a little over 200 miles on it when I bought it. PM me if you want any details on my experience.

I'm thinking they are two different cars. The Manik car is definitely LHD while the WireWheel car appears to be RHD based on the position of the headrest and fairing behind the seats. One also has meatballs for racing numbers while the other does not. Of course, the meatballs could have been removed/added and the pictures inadvertently reversed. Whatever, I'd take either one of them. Skip
Croc
Now that you mention it - I think you are right. No problem though - you take the first car and I will take the second and we are both happy!

Now all we need is to find some generous third party to buy the cars for us and we will all be happy.
