11Budlite
It is with great disappointment that I have to put this Birkin up for sale. We purchased this back in July so Nancy and I could have "hers" and "his" Birkins, but my employent situation is changing so we have to get rid of one of them. This is a new Birkin roller S/N BIY1986 that has never been assembled. Here is a link to the original ad when Pat P. had it for sale: http://www.usa7s.com/vb/showthread.php?t=3401 The supplied engine is a 2001 ZX3 Zetec out of a Ford Focus wagon with appr 29k miles on it. The transmission is a rebuilt T9 with a short input shaft suitable for the Birkin bellhousing. This comes with just about every Birkin build pack including heater, mirrors, elec speedo, starter, gear lever, eng/trans mount, header/muffler/shield, clutch slave, alternator, driveshaft, and much more. It also comes with a new Airtex fuel pump. I was planning on using a Raceline water rail, but I do have the aluminum block that mounts between the head and the thermostat housing to space it out to fit in the Birkin configuration if you wanted to go that route. All that will be needed to complete is a new clutch/pressure plate/flywheel and a RWD configuration wet sump. This has been stored under a car cover in my garage since purchase. Some of the improvements that the 2002 Birkin has over my 2001 Birkin are the Outlaw 4-piston calipers, upper front control arms that are easily adjusted for camber, electrical system with fuses/relays accessible under the hood, and "much" more comfortable seats. One of our Birkins has to go so if someone wants to make an offer on my much upgraded 2001 I would consider that as well. Here's a link to my Birkin: http://www.usa7s.com/vb/showthread.php?t=2287 The price for the 2002 Birkin roller with all build packs, engine, and transmission is what I paid for it, $16000. I would be willing to help with delivery within a reasonable distance. If you need any more detailed photos or have any questions let me know. Al N.
Looks like a clean, relatively complete starting point for someone looking to build a Se7en. FWIW, Bruce is a great guy...I wouldn't hesitate vouching for him!
