Idea for imported 7 with RHD

A bit tough to see the gauges from the driver's seat.

I've seen mail delivery vehicles with similar setups except they have steering wheels on both sides to make it easier to get to and from their routes before switching over to the passenger side.

I'd think the real trick would be using the brakes & throttle;)
Didn't even think of that! LOL

I think it'd be neat to have a RHD car in the states. Especially a Seven where you're so close to the centerline of the car anyway....

I found it fun too for the first day then the reality hit:

- Getting the ticket out of the machine at the pay parking lot

- paying a toll on an interstate.

oops!

The worst combination has to be the US Virgin Islands - you drive on the lefthand side of the road with an LHD car. Visibility on left turns is terrible!

Mine is RHD (British made Locost). The cool factor is there but drive-up windows, mail boxes, pulling out of parallel parking places, and passing cars on the highway are a challenge. Luckily I only have 58 hp so I don't get to pass a lot of cars on the highway. Russ

A bit hard to see but I believe they relocated the pedals also.

There is a bunch of other ingenious problem solutions on ThereIfixedit.com:

Mine is a RHD and no worries, adds to the fun. Also makes it more of a conversation piece, most people assume straight away that it is a "British sports car" , then of course it must be a MGB...or maybe a Morgan. The start of some real good chats.

Hi All,

I'm working in Albania at present and thought you may like to see some Albanian inovative vehicles!!

The first two are made from Rototiller, the second obviously the deluxe model with lights LOL!!!

The last two are 50cc motorcycles!!!
