angustessa Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Just a quick 'local' hello from us - I have just signed up here as I may be heading over to work in NYC - not confirmed just yet. So of course first thoughts were to getting our Caterham over here -sounds like a nightmare proposition though. 'We' are 'Angus&Tessa' on Blatchat, and have the (soon to be updates - honest) website http://www.mycaterham.com Look forward to the chit chat and maybe, just maybe - joining you for a blat in our car on US soil!! cheers Angus
yellowss7 Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 It will be great to have another K series here. These Big hp Duratec SV guys are starting to take over. Wide track Clams Rule! Hope the Move works out for you and Tess. Tom
angustessa Posted January 7, 2011 Author Posted January 7, 2011 Cheers Tom! Mine is now a 200bhp 1.8, though I shall never be a Superlight []
scannon Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Welcome aboard Angus, I hope you can bring your Se7en with you, I look forward to drifting up Pikes Peak along with you. I live a couple of hours from Pikes Peak and if you get to Colorado you and Tessa have a place to stay at my home.
Croc Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Good to see that you sorted out the technical glitch and can post here. First drinks on me for you and Tessa when you arrive in NYC!
angustessa Posted January 8, 2011 Author Posted January 8, 2011 Cheers all - the 'International Language' of these little cars we all love so much, is that you know you already have friends in places you haven't even been to yet - so cool.
Ruadhd2 Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Welcome aboard and thanks for sharing your wonderful website. I get the feeling that the large number of 7's over there results in a lot more fun for the 7-obsessed.
Kitcat Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Welcome! First, it's nice to have a new member who isnt named Mike:)! I am already devouring your website: Ahh, so that's where the fuel filter is:). Many of our members were born with their brains pre-wired and loaded with automobile info. Others of us are pretty clueless mechanically, so all of your site's photos and explanations are most helpful. Mike M.
DeanG Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 NYC has a very weird car culture. Good luck and have fun.
MightyMike Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Welcome aboard Angus, I hope you can bring your Se7en with you, I look forward to drifting up Pikes Peak along with you. I live a couple of hours from Pikes Peak and if you get to Colorado you and Tessa have a place to stay at my home. Welcome! Please include me on the drive. The base of Pikes Peak is a short drive from my house.
